Clearly identify the core reading early in the draft by full author name and article title (following MLA or APA formatting) and include a brief overview of the article’s content as part of the introduction. Develop a clear thesis statement making a claim about the purpose or effectiveness of the rhetorical strategies used in the core reading. Provide a well-reasoned analysis of the core reading’s rhetorical strategies, supported with evidence. Use at least one additional source from Ivy Tech Virtual Library databases. Incorporate at least 10 quotes and/or paraphrases from the core reading and your outside source, cited correctly in MLA or APA style. Include in-text citations and a complete References or Works Cited list of all sources. (References/Works Cited does not count towards the minimum word count.) Follow conventions of Standard English. A minimum of 1000 words for the final draft (excluding the 150-word cover letter). Your Final Draft (Use this list if you are writing Comparative Analysis). Ensure you check in Module 6 which assignment your instructor requires. Conduct a comparative analysis of two core readings, including the one you wrote about in Writing Project 1. Clearly identify both readings early in the draft by full author
