Paper For Above instruction The story of Moses is fundamental to understanding the origins of Judaism, Christianity, and the broader Abrahamic faiths. His biography encompasses a journey from childhood in peril to prophetic leadership that shaped the destiny of the Israelites. Moses left Egypt after an incident where he witnessed an Egyptian mistreating a Hebrew. In Exodus 2, Moses killed the Egyptian who was beating a Hebrew, fearing the consequences if he remained, he fled to Midian. In exile, Moses became a shepherd and married Zipporah, living a quiet life away from Egyptian influence. His departure was driven by a sense of guilt and the recognition that his act of violence could lead to his death or punishment if he stayed. The circumstances leading to Moses’ meeting with God are central to his prophetic calling. In Exodus 3, while tending his flock on Mount Horeb, Moses encountered the burning bush.
