Reflection paper rough draft Gabriella Wyman Walden University 9/13/2018 Reflection paper rough draft Part 1: Today I Am I am Gabriella Wyman a student at the Walden University located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In the world that we are presently living in, technology has taken center stage entirely changing things from their traditional way of doing them to the modest way of doing things. Hence, without knowledge of technology, it is hard to understand the present world and how to cope with emerging technology advancement. Being passionate about technology as well, I am here to pursue my degree program in technology with the primary objective being to understand how technology has over the years influence the virtual world.

I am a focused, disciplined, responsible, and committed student who is willing to go to any length to gather as much knowledge as possible. This is possible because of the life factors and personal attributes that I possess let alone the various learning style capacities that I own. Recently, I have just finished my first semester at the university and the lessons covered have already started improving my levels of self-awareness as compared to before and during admission. The reason for the improvement achievement is the different learning tools that the Walden University has provided. To start with, the university meets world-class standards especially because of the services and tools that have been made available to us students.

In my case, I have been provided with all the means that will make my learning smooth and effective. For instance, a comfortable class equipped with reliable internet, computers, and library both physical and online. The institute has also provided the most competent and reliable tutors for both physical and online lessons hence making tutors accessible 24hrs a day. The tools have played an essential role in the set goals achievement. The latter is in the sense that the devices have made both theory and practical lessons a reality and easy to understand and hence I have been able to achieve the pass mark target set.

Again, the proper arrangement and functioning of these tools have promoted the learning environment making it peaceful and efficient. Towards the completion of the first semester, I conducted a self-assessment to determine areas of strength and weakness and determine what in need to improve or know about the course. One of the things I learned from the self-assessment is that I have what it takes to succeed in the course. For instance, my personal attributes which stand at 89%, life factors stands at 75% and the diverse learning styles are all that I need to achieve the highest levels of success in the course. Part

2: I promise to Technology is extensive and complicated and might seem like a hard and demanding to go through the course.

Nevertheless, I promise to avoid doubts and negative thoughts that would make me feel like I should not chase my dreams by pushing through with the course. Additionally, having noticed my weaknesses with the self-assessment, I will work to improve myself so that I can always be up to the task no matter how tough the going will get as the course progresses. To help myself, I would build and retain a good relationship with my tutors and other students to establish perfect teamwork. Again, I will strive to carry out my homework with caution and promptly to remain at per with the course progress as well as making sure that I attend all lessons with fail and on time. It is a fact that Walden University has provided all the necessary tools that I need to succeed.

Thus, I promise to take advantage of these tools. Moreover, for good results to be obtained, I need to be part of the change. To do this, I will develop a positive attitude towards everything that concerns the course so that I can make the best out of every situation that I will encounter. Part 3: How I will become part of the Walden Community From the little experience, I have gained with the Walden University, the institution is huge and being a world-class with different professionals are dealing in their respective areas of specialization. After making close observations and information I have heard, there are people of great personalities that I admire and would like them to become my mentors.

I will take my time to choose that one great professional whom I will make my mentor, guide, and counselor from whom I will seek career help as well as social life help to learn how to make right decisions at all time and remain focused on the course. As a person, am passionate about good behavior and social deviance problems. I will become a mentor for university students suffering from social deviance behaviors by granting them the various consequences of social deviance behaviors and also how to overcome such challenges. I will also encourage students suffering from other social problems like discrimination, family violence, sexual abuse, or past reckless life. Supporting them and assuring them that there is still hope would make them part of the institution and also work towards achieving their goals as well. The Case study To answer question one this is the big gems framework.
