Charles Felix Williams A CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE

Charles Felix Williams was welcomed into the world on December 7, 1950 by his parents the late Felix Williams Jr. and Mable Elam Williams in Plaquemine, Louisiana. Charles accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age and was baptized at the Greater St Mary Baptist Church of Plaquemine.

Charles graduated from Iberville High School in 1968, where he achieved many honors and recognitions including honors in math, science, and athletics. Following high school graduation, Charles attended Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana and earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education.

During the Summer of 1969, Charles was united in marriage to the late Cynthia Marie Jones. As Charles and Cynthia began their life journey, they settled their family in the city of New Orleans where Charles began a career in retail and hospitality management. Charles spent over 30 years serving in various roles, eventually retiring in 2015 from McDonald’s corporation.

Plaquemine, La. Also cherishing his memory are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many faithful friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Mable Williams; loving wife Cynthia

Marie Jones Williams, sister Constance W. Lights and brothers McKinley, Benny Ray Williams, and brother in love Elphage Keys.
