Happy October . In the past few weeks we attended Antwerp XL and hosted a Lunch for members and shipping lines in Houston on the opening day of Breakbulk Americas. Dear Network Members, as you may know the container trades worldwide are standing in front of a major change in alliances. MSC/Maersk are divorcing and MSC will run a standalone service supported with 2 other groups whilst Maersk/Hapag will team up in an alliance called GEMINI. I asked Hapag in Houston last week does it mean they will become FORWARDER UNFRIENDLY like Maersk? and guy told me even they are not sure….because Hapag is kid brother in GEMINI. Again I remind you all NOT to book with Maersk if you can avoid. There are other choices if in doubt ask us!
