Meet—Ms. Sweet Pea! As a foundation we whole-heartedly adhere to and follow the SMART goals paradigm. Our goals are Specific— Measurable—Attainable — Realistic— & Time Specific. Our annual giving programs, mentoring, and global outreach initiatives described on our foundation website (www.drcmoorer.org) speak clearly to our SMART mindset and practices. Here in 2014, we’ve gone a step further to exercise our commitment to efficiency, sustainability, and SMART practices by acquiring our very first company car.

From Failure to Promise Scholar—Spotlight 2011—3rd Place Recipient: Brian D. Vasquez (in his own words) I have received my Bachelor’s in Public Administration and I am entering the Spring quarter at California State University, San Bernardino as a Graduate student in Public Administration (with a concentration in Cyber Security). The scholarship received from your foundation has helped tremendously in my confidence and motivation to pursuit success in my education. I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship from the Federal government that is paying 100% of my graduate studies (and stipends for living expenses). Last year, the program also paid the way for the annual job fair and symposium in Washington D.C. (my first visit and boy was it hard work!). Additionally, I have been more active in my studies and in campus life. I have joined two clubs on campus (Information Security Club and the Public Administration Organization), have participated in Cyber Defense competitions (National Cyber League [NCL] and Western Region Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition [WRCCDC]), and have joined various professional associations (American Society for Public Administration and Information Systems Security Association). Lastly, In January I obtained my first computer network certification (CompTIA’s Security+), and I am currently preparing for my next certification exam in April (PMI’s Project Management Certification).

Thank You for everything you do!
