How it’s made

1- The material

The wallet parts are cut by hand from a larger piece

2- Prepping the material

Using Tokonole to smooth the inner edge of the cash pocket

Inner pockets

The first row of pockets is glued and prepped for sewing to mid layer

Outer pockets

The second row of pockets is glued and sewed onto mid layer

4 –

Cash pocket

The mid layer is glued to cash pocket and stitching holes are punched

Stitching

Wallet parts are handsewn together

Edge prep

Raw edges are sanded down for next step

7 –

Making noodles

The edges get beveled

8 –

This step is repeated a few times to create a smooth shiny finished edge

9 – Edge
burnish

The pockets are checked for clearance and glue residue before packing
