How it’s made


The parts are cut by hand from a larger piece using a tempalte and a special Japanesse leather knife
Once the panels are glued, a stitching line is made and then the sewn part begins, around 120” of continuous thread is used per side.
The Fabric is than glued to inside of the bag body and trimmed to fit
With the fabric in place, it’s time to sew again, this time the edges of the bag are rolled , glued and stitched
Next the pocket is sewn in and in this case, pen holder and name tag as well.
The strap is made of 2 glued layers of leather, cut down to size and edge sewn.
The edges of the bag are glued, sewn in and trimmed down.
The bottom edges are riveted in
The inside edges are covered with leather and than sewn in a few spots.
Well, it’s time to flip the outside out and attached the straps to the bag. Tote bag accomplished……
