Ancient Greeks assumed that wisdom was inaccessible to all but the intellectually capable and determined, so that its possession was rare & highly prized  Philosophy is knowledge of the truth. Al-Kindi explains that the knowledge of all kinds of facts & reality is achieved thru mankind‘s limited capabilities
