Benny the Brave Bunny and the Lost Duckling
In the sunny forest of Willow Wood, lived Benny, a brave little bunny with big ears and a bigger heart. He loved jumping through flowers and playing hide and seek.
One
day, while hopping near the pond, Benny heard soft sniffles.
“Sniff-sniff… quack…” It was a tiny yellow duckling sitting all alone.
“Oh no! Are you okay?” asked Benny kindly.
“I lost my mama,” said the duckling, tears in his eyes.
“Don’t worry,” said Benny. “I’ll help you find her!”
Benny and the duckling asked their forest friends for help.
“Have you seen Mama Duck?” they asked Squeaky the squirrel.
“No, but I’ll help too!” said Squeaky, joining them.
Next, they met Tilly the turtle by the stream. “Let’s look near the lily pads!” she said slowly but wisely. The team was growing, and so was their hope.
They peeked behind bushes, called “Mama Duck!” loudly, and even made a funny duck dance to cheer up the duckling. Everyone giggled, even the duckling!
At last, near the tall reeds, they heard “Quack-quack!” It was Mama Duck! She waddled over quickly. “Oh my sweet duckling!” she said, hugging him with her wings.
“Thank you, Benny,” said Mama Duck. “And thank you, friends. You are all heroes!” The forest friends cheered and danced under the sunset sky.
From that day on, Benny became known as Benny the Brave, the bunny who helped friends and never left anyone behind.
