PUMPKIN HUNT

Ready to hunt down your perfect pumpkin? Join us at the Adult Sports Complex for an exhilarating archery challenge! Pumpkins will be strategically placed in the field, testing your skills fun and excitingly. This free family event is perfect for all ages, so gather your loved ones and join in the fun. We can't wait to see you there!

HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL

Turn on the juice and see what shakes loose at this year's Halloween Carnival! We're going out with a Beetlejuice theme and looking for action. Join us for Pumpkin Town games, a costume contest, concessions, Beetlejuice themed scarecrow decorating contest, and more! Wristbands are $10 (ages 1 & up) and available starting September 30 by phone (281-478-2050), in person (709 E. P Street), or online at www.deerparktx.gov/parksandrec until October 25. Day-of wristbands are $15. Prepurchased wristbands can be picked up at Jimmy Burke Activity Center on October 24-25, 4-8pm. Come on out and make our millennium!

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS

Join us in Dow Park on November 1 for a vibrant Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) celebration! This special holiday honors the connection between the living and the departed, allowing loved ones who have passed to enjoy life's pleasures once more. Families are invited to celebrate with music, food, and the creation of Ofrendas (offerings) to honor their departed. Remember, this is a time to celebrate your loved ones positively and spiritually. Let's come together to cherish and remember!

SENIOR OLYMPICS

Are you prepared to showcase your competitive spirit at the upcoming Senior Olympics event? We invite you to participate in three exciting days of activities that will challenge and entertain you. With a wide variety of events available, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Please visit the Maxwell Adult Center to complete your registration. The grand opening ceremonies will commence at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center at 9:30am on Monday. The first 75 individuals who register before the deadline of October 1 will receive a complimentary Senior Olympics T-shirt. The doors will open promptly at 9am daily.
