Interested in being a research assistant? Professor Jeff Kosseff (non-W&M) is working on a book about the history of anonymity in the United States. He is looking to hire a research assistant/cite checker. If you’re interested in free speech and technology law, please email your resume to Professor Green (rgreen@wm.edu) and she will forward it on. Work would probably start in January and run through summer 2020. NYC Bar Association Data Usage Law webinar recap Thank you to all the members who attended the webinar on Data Usage Law. The event featured several panelists covering a variety of topics including data protection, privacy, and usage; GDPR and other key privacy regulations; data usage with AI and machine learning, Fintech and RegTech developments, and cybersecurity; and it ended with a discussion on ethics in big data. We will email out the slides as soon as we receive them. Stay tuned for more members-only events. If you have any feedback about the event, please email us.
