HIRO KIMURA Hiro Kimura was born in Japan. He started his career as a fashion stylist in New York. Kimura moved to Tokyo where he worked for Vogue Japan, Vogue Taiwan and Harper’s Bazaar. In 2008, he became a photographer. He is currently based in New York.

KAROLINA TRAWINSKA Karolina Trawinska was born in Wroclaw, Poland. After finishing high school, she moved to Paris to work as a model.

Through modeling, she discovered photography. She started to work on a series of self-portraits and in 2006 she had her first exhibition in Paris. For three years, she worked with other photographers as an assistant to gain experience and find her own photographic view. She participated in an international photography competion organized by Sony and Pulp and won the first place in the Beauty category and the second place in the Fashion category. LAPEET PIJLGROMS LaPeet Pijlgroms shoots editorial and commercial fashion, beauty, travel and portraits. She is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, but loves to travel to exotic places in the world to make travel stories for the Dutch media. MICHELLE MICHEO Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her father had a textile shop, so she fell in love with color, pattern and texture from a very early age. SHAYNE STROUD Native Texan Katy Shayne Rogers works under the “pen” name Shayne Stroud. She is a 25 year old girl currently living in Austin, Texas, where she shoots film, collect dried flowers, looks for dead birds and drinks a lot of coffee. Mark A. Escribano (Puerto Rico - 1970) is a unique, versatile image maker who works in a wide variety of visual aesthetics and tones. In 2009, he made his feature directorial debut with a documentary investigation into the nurturing of artistic expression by way of a stylized character study of a family of artists titled The Super Noble Brothers.

Also a cinematographer, he has since lent his skill behind the lens to such diverse projects as William Shatner’s poetic and entertaining Gonzo Ballet and Frankie Latina’s vintage ‘artsplotation’ Super-8 feature Modus Operandi.

His personal work in experimental short films often centers around ‘situational metaphors’ for basic human experiences and ambitious / spontaneous collaborations with fellow visual artists from varying mediums; often stemming from his background in fine art and performance art. Currently residing in Los Angeles, his work spans the areas of music video, art fabrication / documentation, artist profiles, conceptual fashion photography and feature film. Contemporary yet classic, he sites Duane Michals (and his well known ‘sequences’) as his earliest photographic influence and the impetus for his introduction to the study of cinema and artists such as Maya Deren.

An avid portrait photographer with iconic style, his subjects often include artists and entertainers. Mark is a daring director with an innovative vision. His latest feature project is an inspired, modern take on Godard’s Sympathy for the Devil and he is co-authoring a book-based script on the infamous founder of the world renowned oddity, The House on the Rock.

[LØZNINGER] BENJAMIN LØZNINGER [July 6, 1988 - Toronto]

LØZNINGER is the pop + folk + experimental solo project of ELEKTRISK GØNNER’s Benjamin Løzninger.

Moving Targets, his new album, will be released on October 17, 2011 by Mini50 Records. The album will be available as a digital download, but also in a very limited edition of 50 copies including a hand-made booklet full of poetry and writings as well as badges, all wrapped in a fabric case.

The first two singles from the album, Like a Snake and Moving Targets, are still available to download for free on the web, so don’t waste any time and get your copies now. Both singles include a pair of songs that you won’t get on the full length album.

LØZNINGER’s music feels very personal and intimate. You can experience a mature and profound songwriting throughout all of his songs. The sound is a bit dark and melancholic and the noises you get from the combination of instruments used on the recordings mixed with Benjamin’s voice are beautiful.

Benjamin is a complete artist. He is not only a musician, but a photographer and graphic designer too.

For this section, he shares a bit of what is life on the road like for him.
