NAROOMA OYSTER FESTIVAL 30th April - 1st May, various locations Join us in the seaside town of Narooma for the awardwinning Narooma Oyster Festival, a mouth-watering celebration of South Coast flavours. Held on the first weekend in May (30 April - 1 May 2021) this year’s Covidsafe program celebrates South Coast produce – think abalone, sea urchins and of course the world’s best oysters! Fun for families and foodies alike, the festival delivers great food experiences with oyster tastings, oyster masterclasses,cooking demonstrations, food and wine market stalls and a bushtucker cook-up as well as local art and culture, live music and family entertainment. Enjoy it all from the festival’s stunning location at Forster’s Bay, Narooma – one of the most beautiful locations on the NSW South Coast. CWA OF NSW CONFERENCE 2nd - 6th May, various locations, Bega As part of the 2021 CWA of NSW State Conference, there are a series of events open to the public to enjoy. First up is the CWA Country Market, held at the Bega Showgrounds on Sunday 2nd May from1pm - 5pm. Stall holders include Mystery Bay Kelp, Johanna Weiss with her artwork on linen, Jody Vassallo with her cookbook Farmer and BraveBottomed Wombat children’s book, Three Fat Ladies with their delicious regional food, Eden Preserves, Tilba Real Dairy, Paul West with his cookbook and growing guide The Edible Garden, Za’s Coffee Van, Bega Girl Guides with their hand-made jewellery and more.
