For Regular Training Programs
Programs offered at specific schedules and conducted at the MTSC.
1. Fill in the Reservation Form which is downloadable at www.mirdc.dost.gov.ph
2. Send the filled-in form by email.
3. Wait for MTSC’s confirmation of your reserved slot.
For Packaged Training Programs
Programs designed and conducted exclusively to a client held at MTSC or at the client’s specified location. MTSC designs programs suited to your training needs.
Email a letter or call our landline to request the needed training program, possible schedule, venue, and number of participants. MTSC will prepare the necessary papers and coordinate the training program with the client.
For Use of Equipment
* The classification of the use of MTSC equipment are as follows: Time Sharing – client provides own machine operator

History of MTSC
19 March 2015
– DFA sent notice to DOST that the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) developed an ODA tailored for the Philippines’ die and mold industry.
28 August 2015 – MIRDC entered into an MOU with KOAMI for a joint study needed to design the master plan of ODA and look at the feasibility of the proposed MTSC.
17 March 2016 – DFA transmitted NEDA’s endorsement of MIRDC’s project proposal “Establishment of a Mold Technology Support Center” to the Republic of Korea for possible grant assistance.
5 June 2018 – Signing of MOU between Mr. Hyeong KI Choi of KOAMI and Mr. Hector U. Villanueva, Jr. of PDMA witnessed by President Rodrigo R. Duterte.
18 December 2019 – MIRDC and KOAMI signed the Records of Discussion outlining the list of equipment to be donated for MTSC.
21 November 2019 – MIRDC, PEZA, PDMA, Inc., and BOI entered into a MOA to form the Philippine Party of the ODA.
30 October 2019 – Groundbreaking of the MTSC Building site.
7 October to December 13, 2019 –Nine Filipino trainers attended a 10-week training at the Korea Mold Center in Bucheon, South Korea.
25 June 2019 – Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy informs NEDA of the ODA’s approval for the duration covering May 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022.
23 April 2020 – DOST approved a three-year Grant-in-Aid Program to support the implementation of the ODA project.
13 August 2020 – MTSC started offering free webinars in response to restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
1 February2021 – ODA-donated equipment, tooling, furniture and consumables started to arrive.
20 May 2022 – The MTSC building was completed. The design of the building was commissioned by PDMA, Inc. The construction site and building was provided by PEZA and MIRDC will lease the building for 10 years.
20 July 2022 – PEZA turned-over the building to MIRDC. MIRDC entered into a co-management scheme with PDMA, Inc. for the operation and management of the MTSC.
10 November 2022 – The MTSC facility was launched.
