apas National High School showcases the school’s innovation entitled Project KITE (Knowledge, Integration Technology Education), developed and designed by Dr. Yolanda M. Gonzales, Principal IV, in the T4 World Education on February 21 via Zoom and Facebook Live streaming. T4 Education is a global organization that delivers engaging tools, initiatives, and events for teachers and schools to improve education. Vikas Pota, Founder of T4, selected five schools from the Philippines to showcase their excellence at 2021 World Education Week with
its theme, “School Celebration.” which aims to celebrate schools worldwide that have developed significant expertise that other teachers and schools around the world can emulate. Gobi Daniel, Intern at T4 education, open the first session of the global showcase event. Dr. Yolanda M. Gonzales, Principal IV, and Dr. Mark Anthony C. Pimentel, Assistant Principal II of Capas National High School, are the keynote speakers at this international event. They discussed Project Kite and presented Capas National High School’s academic programs, the professionalism of the teachers, the high level
of support of the parents and stakeholders, and the brightness of its learners. Moreover, Dr. Manny L. Isip, the event moderator and Head Teacher III of CNHS, together with Dr. Ryan G. De Guia, Master Teacher, and Media Specialist, assisted in the conduct of the session. Furthermore, the session includes a live panel with Vikas Pota, Minu Melwani (India) Jesutomi Arowobusoye (Nigeria), and Wendell Cabrera (Philippines). Notwithstanding its online conduct, the event has drawn students’ and teachers’ attention as they determinedly asked questions producing a vigorous discussion.

Being the school administrator from October 2021 to the present, the academe accomplished another project proposed by Dr. Magcalas called Project MAR-”Make a Difference Act responsibly, Reflect and bring out the best in you.” The project aspires to develop learners to be efficient and competent individuals, maintain an eco-friendly environment, and raise awareness among the students and teachers of this shared responsibility. nother victory for Capas National High School-SHS Department as it was awarded first place in the 2021 Regional Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Curriculum and Instruction- Most Focused Senior High School during the 2021 Regional PRAISE Gawad Patnugot Awards Ceremony held at Hacienda Gracia Resort and Hotel Sta Maria, Lubao, Pampanga, December 10. The Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Curriculum and Instruction (SAFE-CI) encourages creativity, innovativeness, integrity, and productivity in public service. It also aims to showcase the best-learning-focused and innovative practices among DepEd units, officials, and employees and the effective implementation of School-Based Management in every school. Through the initiative of the former Principal IV of Capas National High School, Dr. Yolanda M. Gonzales, together with Dr. Mariolito G. Magcalas, Principal IV of Capas National High School, and Dr. Mark Anthony C. Pimentel, Assistant Principal II and SHS-Head Teacher, CNHS was competent to deliver quality,well-structured and effective-learning activities. Moreover, Capas National High School will represent the region in the National SAFE-CI.
