Miss Phumeza Skoti organised an event where young people presented their stage performance skills, which included poetry, dance and music art, craft, clothing manufacturing, furniture making, and other skills like repair and refurbishment of oldfurniture and couches. The event was held at Dora Vosloo hall in Indwe and was packed to capacity on Friday, October 28, 2022 The day was graced by the presence of Emalahleni Local Municipality Mayor, Cllr Nontombizanele,WardCllrsof both wards 15 & 16,
Directorate of Integrated Planning, Economic Development, Tourism and Agriculture, Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Department of Water and Sanitation, National Prosecution Authority, Chris Hani District Municipality and the elderly who were there to witness the activities of the day targeting youth After the purpose of the day was outlined, commitments were made by other stakeholders and performances were awarded certificates, and
winners were given music related gadgets in the form of microphones, USB's, and other gadgets in support of what they are already doing, performances and production of music The Mayor was pleased to see young people embarking on a positive and constructive program guided by Ms. Phumeza Skoti and her teamtowardsunleashing their talentandpotential,whichwill surelytakethemoutoftrouble and off the street She said the municipality decided to support the initiative although it was on short notice due to
