As our time with Isabella Rose Stowe comes to an end, her story calls to mind the life and mission of John the Baptist a voice crying out in the wilderness, preparing the way for something greater. Just as John boldly proclaimed truth and pointed others to the One who brings ultimate transformation, Isabella’s life and words echo that same call: make straight the path, embrace the Kingdom, and live with purpose. Her journey reminds us that the assignment God gives often requires courage, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. Like John, Isabella’s testimony is not about drawing attention to herself, but about pointing others toward Christ the true source of life, freedom, and renewal. In her reflections, Isabella challenges us to live with authenticity, to turn away from distractions, and to pursue a deeper intimacy with God. Much like the wilderness preaching of John the Baptist, her message may feel countercultural, but it is urgent, necessary, and life-giving.
As we close, let Isabella’s voice inspire us to rise boldly in our own callings, preparing the way in our homes, communities, and spheres of influence. For in this generation, we too are called to be forerunners

1.What has shifted in my thoughts, actions, or faith this week?
2.What one habit will I carry into October?
Hello boys and girls today's memory verse is found in Colossians 3:20.
It instructs children to obey their parents in God's Way of life, as this pleases the Lord. It tells us to respect and be obedient, as obedience to parents is seen as obedience to God, highlighting the importance of honoring one's parents.
We need to follow the rules set by our moms and dads. This makes them happy and proud of us.
When we obey our parents, we're also showing respect for God, because He wants us to love and obey those in authority over us.
By obeying your parents, we're learning important values like respect, responsibility, and self-control. These values will help us grow into a kind and responsible person.
One notable example of a child's obedience to their parents can be found in the story of Jesus. Although Jesus was the Son of God, he demonstrated remarkable obedience to his earthly parents, Mary and Joseph.
When Jesus was 12 years old, his parents took him to Jerusalem for the Passover festival. After the festival, they began their journey back home, unaware that Jesus had stayed behind in the temple. When they finally found him, Mary expressed her concern, and Jesus responded by saying, "Why were you searching for me? Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?" (Luke 2:49).

Kyle Lamar Alleyne Monthly Contributor
Despite his divine nature, Jesus returned to Nazareth with his parents and was obedient to them. The Bible says, "He went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them" (Luke 2:51). This story showcases Jesus' willingness to submit to his parents' authority, setting an example for children everywhere. Jesus' obedience to his parents demonstrates the importance of respecting and submitting to authority. Jesus' actions show that obedience can be a manifestation of love and humility.
As the Son of God, Jesus' obedience to his parents sets a powerful example for children to follow.

THEME VERSE: “WHEN I AM AFRAID, I WILL TRUST IN YOU.” – PSALM 56:3
September can be an exciting month but it can also come with BIG feelings. Now that all children are back in school, making new friends, or facing changes at home can stir up a lot inside. You might feel:
 Worried about fitting in
 Confused about changes
Sad about something no one else knows
 Angry but not sure why
 Nervous about trying something new
Guess what? You’re not alone, and you’re not strange for having big emotions. Even the strongest Bible heroes had days when they felt overwhelmed. David, Elijah, and even Jesus had moments when they cried, felt pressure, or needed to get away and pray.
 Small Steps = Big Change
You don’t have to fix everything all at once. God invites you to take small steps and He walks with you the whole way.
“When I am afraid, I will trust in You.” – Psalm 56:3
Here are a few small steps that can help when your feelings feel bigger than your faith:
1.Pause and Breathe
2.Take 3 slow breaths. Remind yourself: God is here right now.
3.Talk to God Honestly
4.You don’t need fancy words. Just say what you’re feeling. God listens with love.
5.Use Your Words (or Art!)
6.Write in a journal, draw your emotion, or talk to a parent, teacher, or safe friend.
7.Remember a Scripture
8.Try memorizing one verse a week. God’s Word calms your heart like a warm hug.
9.Do One Brave Thing
10.Maybe it’s raising your hand in class, smiling at someone new, or telling the truth. One small brave act = big trust in God!
Feelings are signals, not sins. They tell us what’s going on inside but we don’t have to be controlled by them. With the Holy Spirit, we can walk in peace, power, and purpose even when our hearts feel heavy.
“Dear God, when I feel big emotions, help me pause, breathe, and trust You. Thank You for loving me no matter what. Give me courage to take small steps. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

"THEME VERSE: “JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME YESTERDAY AND TODAY AND FOREVER.” —
When you hear the word superstar, what comes to mind? Maybe it’s a famous singer on stage, an athlete scoring the winning point, or a movie actor on the big screen. Superstars are people who shine so brightly that everyone notices them. But did you know the greatest superstar of all time is found right in the Bible? His name is Jesus.
Jesus wasn’t just popular—He was life-changing. Everywhere He went, crowds followed Him. Why? Because He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, fed the hungry, and even raised the dead. People were amazed because He did what no one else could do. But the biggest reason Jesus is the true superstar is because He came to save the whole world.
HIS MESSAGE
Unlike the superstars of today, Jesus didn’t need a microphone, stadium lights, or a stage. His words carried power all on their own. He taught about love, forgiveness, and the Kingdom of God. Instead of showing off, He showed people how to live with kindness, humility, and courage.
Most superstars shine for themselves, but Jesus shined for God’s glory. His whole mission was to bring people closer to God. He wasn’t interested in fame or applause He was interested in hearts being transformed. His superstar moment wasn’t just turning water into wine or walking on water; it was when He gave His life on the cross and then rose again. That was the greatest victory of all time.
Superstars of the world eventually fade, but Jesus’ light will never go out.
Superstars usually want fans, but Jesus wants friends (John 15:15).
Superstars may inspire you for a moment, but Jesus can transform you forever.
1.Read His Word – The Bible is like His superstar story, and you’re part of it!
2.Talk to Him – Prayer keeps you close to Jesus.
3.Shine His Light – Show love and kindness everywhere you go, just like He did.
Jesus is the ultimate superstar not because He wore a crown of gold, but because He wore a crown of thorns for us. He’s the superstar who never fades, never fails, and never forgets you. Following Him will make your life shine brighter than any spotlight.
Key Verse: “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.” –
1 Corinthians 16:13 (NIV)
WHAT DOES “STEADFAST” MEAN?
It means standing strong without giving up no matter what comes your way. Being steadfast in God means trusting Him, obeying Him, and not letting fear or distractions pull you away from His truth.
DECLARATION OF THE DAY:
"I can stand steadfast the way God says I should!
I will not be shaken. I will not give up. I will trust God and keep going, even when things are hard."
HOW TO STAND STEADFAST GOD'S WAY:
Pray – Ask God for strength every day.
Read the Word – His truth keeps you grounded.
Use your Armor – Put on the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18).
Don’t quit – Even when it’s hard, you keep standing!
REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
What does standing strong look like for me in school or with friends?
When have I wanted to give up but didn’t? What helped me stay strong?
What is one thing I can do this week to stand steadfast in my faith?
DRAW A PICTURE OF YOURSELF STANDING IN THE ARMOR OF GOD. LABEL EACH PIECE AND WRITE A BIBLE VERSE ON YOUR SHIELD OR SWORD!
Jordan was in 7th grade. He was smart and did well in school. One night, he had a big science test the next day.mmHe sat down to study. Then his phone buzzed.mmIt was his friend Marcus. “Hey Jordan! Come play the new video game. Everyone’s online!” Jordan looked at his books. He looked at his game controller.mHe thought, “Just one game.” But one game turned into many. Before long, it was after midnight. Jordan never studied. The next morning, Jordan was tired. When the test came, he didn’t know the answers. His paper came back with a big red “F.” Jordan sighed, “I traded my education for a game. Just like Esau traded his birthright for stew.” From then on, Jordan promised to study first. He still played games, but he didn’t give away his education again.
THE LESSON:
-Jordan traded his education for games.
-Don’t give away something valuable for something small and temporary.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
What choice did Jordan have to make between studying and playing games?
How did Jordan lose because of his decision?
Have you ever made a choice that felt fun in the moment but hurt you later?
APPLY IT TO OUR LIVES:
~ How can you show that you value your education and God’s blessings?
~ Do not trade what matters most (your education, your future, and God’s blessings) for what only lasts a moment. ~

REMEMBERING THE STORY:
1.Who was Jordan?
2.What did he need to do the night before the test?
3.Who called Jordan to play games?
4.Did Jordan study or play?
5.What grade did Jordan get on his test?
MY PRAYER:
“Dear Lord, thank You for my education and Your blessings. Help me not to trade them away for things that don’t last. Teach me to love wisdom and use it for my future. Amen.”

THIS WEEK’S FOCUS: Protect Your Education
Proverbs 4:7 (KJV)
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
(Write the verse here 3 times to practice!)
ZEKE’S LESSONS: God wants us to treasure the gifts He gives us—like wisdom, love, and learning.
We should not give them away for small things that don’t last.

PRAYER TIME:
“Dear God, thank You for giving me the chance to learn and grow.
Help me not to trade away my education for things that don’t matter. Teach me to value wisdom and knowledge so I can be ready for the future You have planned for me. I love You, Lord, because You first loved me. And I thank you for that. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
(Sign your name below to show your promise to treasure your blessings!)
Honor your birthright! Honor God’s promises!
MEMORY VERSE: HEBREWS 12:16,
“Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.”
ZEKE’S OPENING:
Esau despised his birthright. He thought it did nothing for him. We should always treasure God’s promises, just like Jacob longed for the blessing from God.
Let me tell you what happened.....
Jacob, Esau, and the Birthright
Esau and Jacob were twin brothers. Esau was born first, so he had the birthright.
That meant he would be the leader of the family and get a special blessing from God. Esau liked to hunt in the fields. Jacob liked to stay home and cook.
One day Esau came home very hungry Jacob was cooking stew Esau said, “Give me some stew!” Jacob said, “I will if you give me your birthright ” Esau said, “What good is a birthright if I’m starving?” So he traded his birthright for a bowl of stew
Later, when their father Isaac was very old and blind, he wanted to bless Esau. But Jacob, with his mother’s help, dressed up like Esau and tricked Isaac. Isaac gave Jacob the blessing instead of Esau.
When Esau found out, he cried, “Bless me too, Father!” But the blessing was already given to Jacob.
LESSON:
This story reminds us to value the gifts and blessings God gives. Esau traded something very special for something small and temporary. Jacob, though tricky, knew the blessing was precious.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Why was the Birthright so important for Esau?
What did Esau trade it for? Do you think it was a good trade? Why or why not?
How do you think Jacob felt about the Birthright compared to Esau?
ZEKE’S BLESSING TIPS:
Look and see the value of blessings, and do not throw them away for something small and temporary

PRAYER TIME WITH ZEKE:
Dear God, thank you for reminding us to treasure the blessings that You give to us. And please help us to honor You and Your promises. Amen.
(Sign your name below to show your promise to treasure your blessings!)
Lesson for Us
Esau gave away his blessing because he only thought about food right now. Jacob wanted the blessing because he knew it was important.
Jacob traded his grades for games.
God wants us to treasure the gifts He gives us like wisdom, love, and learning
We should not give them away for small things that don’t last

Theme: Prioritizing God in how we use our money and resources.
Key Verse: “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.” Proverbs 3:9 (NLT)
“Putting God first doesn’t mean He gets what’s left over it means He gets the best and first part of what you have!”
WHAT THIS MEANS:
God wants to be first in everything even your money. When you get money (from allowance, gifts, or chores), stop and ask, “How can I honor God with this?”
Giving your first to God shows that you trust Him to take care of the rest.
CHALLENGE OF THE MONTH:
Set aside a portion of any money you receive this month and give it at church, children’s ministry, or to help someone in need. Even a little bit counts when your heart is big!
QUICK ACTION STEPS:
Pray before you spend or give.
Make a “God First” envelope to remind you to set some money aside each time.
Thank God for whatever you have big or small!
Did you know that every September, people around the world come together to support children who are facing something very tough cancer? Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is a time when we shine a light on the bravery of kids who are fighting this disease and pray for their strength, healing, and hope. You might see gold ribbons this month that's the special symbol to honor these courageous warriors. Why gold? Because gold is rare and precious, just like the lives of every child fighting cancer.
Cancer is a sickness that can happen when the body’s cells start growing the wrong way and crowd out the healthy ones. It’s not contagious (you can’t catch it like a cold), but it can make people feel very tired, weak, or sick. Some kids need special treatments like chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery to help their bodies fight back. These treatments can be hard, but many kids face them with amazing courage.
FAITH OVER FEAR
God doesn’t promise that we’ll never face hard times, but He does promise to be with us in every battle.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid… for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9. Even when doctors and nurses are helping, God is the greatest healer of all. He gives strength to children fighting cancer, to their families, and even to friends who support them. You don’t have to have cancer to be part of the fight. You can be a helper, an encourager, and a prayer warrior!
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
HERE ARE 5 SIMPLE WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH CANCER THIS MONTH:
1. Wear a Gold Ribbon – Make or buy one and wear it proudly.
2. Pray Daily – Ask God to heal, comfort, and strengthen kids who are sick.
3. Send Cards or Art – Create uplifting cards or drawings for a local children’s hospital.
4. Share Stories – Learn about real-life child cancer survivors and share their hope-filled journeys.
5. Be Kind – If you know someone at school or church who is sick, show extra kindness and include them.
Jesus said we are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). That means even as a young person, your love and prayers can shine brightly especially for those who are going through dark or difficult times. Let’s light up this month with gold, hope, and love for every child battling cancer. Together, with God, we can be a source of strength and sunshine.
