agic is created by God Gnaeus and the knowledge is widely spread on the Utea

continent in the last 200 years. Magic makes people stronger and accelerated social development, but also brings conflicts, wars, and also an unknown disease, the Greyhand. There are four countries in the Utea continent, Uchus, Efral, Priadal, and Escar.

Each country has different climates and cultures. Uchus and Priadal are in the state of war against Escar for years, and both countries tend to become overwhelmed by the war consumption.

Blade and Ayden are brothers from Uchus. The brothers are both talented blade masters. But, unlike everyone else, Blade cannot use any magic. After their parents are infected by the Greyhand disease, Ayden left home and surrenders to Escar. A year has passed, Blade decides to start his journey to find not just the cure for his parents, but also his missing brother.

Blade is one of the two playable characters, and the protagonist of the story. Blade uses the sword, "Mithril Magic Silencer", as his main weapon.

In most of the time, the player needs to react to the enemies' magic attack and find the correct timing to fight back. In chapter 9-14, Blade can unlock his time magic which costs his stamina to slow time.

Blade is really good at hiding his own feeling, even though he has been in extreme sorrow after his parent's infection and brother's missing. But there is one exception: He will never hide his joy when he is eating desserts in Uchus.

Blade is naturally not able to use any magic, so he spent all his time practicing swordsmanship. He has an extremely fast reaction speed that supports his sword skill to beat magics. Unlike his brother Ayden, Blade believes that the Greyhand is a plague that can be healed, so he started his journey alone looking for the cure.

In Chapter 9, Blade realized his magic type was TIME.

Blade loves collceting element gemstones, even though he cannot activate them. Kids just love little toys.

Anemone is the second playable character in Gnaeus' Oracle. Anemone has a different attack mode than Blade, and in Anemone's chapters, the player needs to get used to shooting and the use of wind magic.

Being the most experienced mercenary in Howling Vale, Anemone has never failed a mission untill she and Blade discorvered that a chamber of commerce is planning on a coup against the Uchus imperial. Instead of picking a side, they escaped from Uchus and stepped on their journey. Anemone has no interest in the cure of the Greyhand, instead, she need to find an old friend in Priadal.

She would not cry 99% of the time.

Anemone grew up in the mercenary comany, Howling Vale, so she has been tough since childhood. Howling Vale had been her only family, so after she left Uchus, she became insecure and often suffer from insomnia. When that happens, Anemone's basic statistics in daytime will be weakened.

Even in Uchus' summer, Anemone still would not take off her cape.

She said“It is for security.”But it seems to have the opposite effect.

Uchus is a country in the desert that has a huge wealth gap and social hierarchy. Slavery is popular, and technology is well developed based on the strong workforce. Uchus people are skilled with firearms, and very few rich classes and imperial families are mastered with earth and fire element magic.

The main attraction is the giant cliff Yorkden Wall, 40% of the lower-class Uchian were forced to live and work in the stacked buildings on this cliff to save living area.

Uchus has been fighting against Escar's invasion for years. Despite its huge popularity, the loss is just a matter of time when the difference of power and internal cohesion between the two countries is significant. After losing half of its land, Uchus is most likely headed towards a gruesome future under the leadership of Queen Fedelia.

Ayden is Blade's older brother and the training NPC in chapter 1-3. Players can talk to Ayden and practice Blade's attack combos.

As a great soldier in the Uchus imperial , Ayden is good at both swordsmanship and fire magic. Ayden's unique battle style is using fire to enhance his sword, so his right hand is infected and his left hand is clean.

When they were both little, Blade realized that he cannot use magic, but Ayden encouraged him to master sword fighting, "If you cannot use magic, there's nothing wrong with you. Your sword is your gift, and you have to master it." Ayden also intentionally avoid using magic in front of Blade.

In chapter 3, after their parents are both infected by the Greyhand, Ayden left Uchus without telling anyone but Blade, "this country cannot save our dad and mom, and I have made a decision. It might be wrong, but I have no choice." After that, Ayden joined the enemy country, Escar, and was wanted by the Uchus imperial.

The head of the chamber of commerce, "Cerastes", manages slave trades, also planning on a coup against the Uchus imperial.

Both hands are infected by the Greyhand.

Priadal has the best climate including forests and islands. It is the origin of all magic and fantasy creatures. People in Priadal have a strong belief in God Gnaeus.

Priadal has very little development in technology, instead, they are the most advanced country in the development of magic. Priadal people insist on knowledge sharing and had a history of spreading magic knowledge to all three other countries until Escar declared war on them.

The main attraction is the wizard forest, where the Priadal School of Magic is located.

In the past few years, many islands and parts of the mainland is invaded by Escar, and both Priadal and Escar suffered heavy losses and compromised on a temporary ceasefire.

Faye is half Uchian and half Priadan. She had lived in Uchus for few years. She is also Anemone’s friend since childhood.

As a member of the Priadal nomad clan, Faye has been trained to communicate with the animals in the forest. Unlike other friends in the clan, Faye did not go to the magic school. All she wanted to do is to live a worthy life and defeat all the Escan invaders.

In Chapter 7, Faye joins the team and supports the player in battle.

One of the four headmasters in Priadal School of Magic. He successfully masters all types of magic, but because of that, he is heavily infected by the Greyhand.

In chapter 9, Duvius discovered that the origin of magic was not God Gnaeus, but the God of time, Usesis. “Gnaeus is the biggest crisis, and this world is counting on that Uchian boy.”

Escar is a dictatorship country located in the South. In the past, Escar had been the weakest country for years. A big part of Escar's popularity is formed by the refugees and immigrants from Uchus. The last two kings of Escar absorbed the technology from Uchus and the knowledge of magic from Priadal, then Escar started to grow. Escar has been a peaceful country until the present king enthroned and declared war on all surround counties, but the reason kept unknown.

Escar army has a variety of skills including magic, physical battle, firearms, etc. Unlike other countries, belief in God Gnaeus is prohibited in Escar.

Escar has a progressing economy, which is mainly supported by trade, gem production, and weaponsmithing. But their biggest strengths are prosperous trade and advanced medicine.

Efral located on the northernmost part of the Utea ontinent. Efral has the largest territory but the smallest popularity because of the extremely cold climate.

Efral has not participated in any conflict between the other countries, but it has threats from inside of the territory——dragons in the glacier.

The dragon in Efral are more powerful and violent than any other creatures in the world and seem trying to protecting something in the deepest part of the glacier. Living in this environment, the Efrians are adapted to extreme weather and trained for any type of battle.
