BORDURIA CELEBRATES
Mother Teresa’s Canonization
Borduria is the only place in Arunachal Pradesh which Mother Teresa visited peronally. Hence her Canonization was celebrated with joy and solemnity at Borduria. People were excited to know that she is raised to the height of Sainthood for they said “Mother Teresa has blessed and walked in our land”. In order to prepare for this day we had two days of spiritual preparation, a day for women and men fol l owe d by youth of the village. We got won-
derful response from the people including for the spiritual preparation. Bro. John Bagh and his team led the people in prayer and made them experience God’s mercy, love and blessing. They attracted men, women and youth through their dynamic animation. On 4th September, celebration began with procession from Borduria public ground to the Church. Holy Mass was celebrated by Rt. Rev. George Palliparambil sdb DD, Bishop of Miao. Large Number of people participated in the Holy Eucharist from the Borduria Parish. After the Holy Mass we had cultural programme followed by festive meal for all.
