ART & GLAMOUR

The inception of Paradise Feathers took place in 2019 when Brazilian founder and creative director Andrezza Valentin was inspired to apply her years of experience as a fine artist and designer in creating a new line of art jewelry. The brand was officially launched in the Fall of 2023, with its first online store and at Milan Jewelry Week 2023, where it received one of the coveted Network awards.

The brand’s name references the splendor, opulence, and allure of the female fatales of silent era films and its experimentation with jewelry, fabrics, and mixed media art, creating dreamlike worlds of beauty and luxury.

As an artist, Andrezza worked on large scale sculptures and installations with ephemeral materials, making her artwork transient and finite. In contrast, her work as a jewelry artist allows Andrezza to explore and create small objects of art that can exist for years or even decades but still be unique and one-of-a-kind.

Influenced by Bauhaus and Art Deco, Andrezza’s aesthetic shines through in her minimalist designs, combining geometric shapes and clean lines with precious and non-precious materials to craft wearable sculptures of glamour and sophistication.

Navigating the intricate world of precious and semi-precious stones demands a discerning eye and a commitment to ethical sourcing. In an industry often marred by greenwashing, our pursuit of excellence

extends to the careful selection of semiprecious and non-precious stones, primarily from sustainable mines in Brazil. This deliberate choice ensures a transparent supply chain, tracing the journey from source to gem cutters to our artisans. As we contemplate the inclusion of precious stones, our vetting process ensures alignment with the highest standards of ethical practices in both production and provenance.

This challenge serves as an impetus for us to explore alternative materials such as acrylic, glass, and lab-grown stones, each contributing to the intrinsic value of our pieces through the lens of innovative design and creative expression.

Our precious metals, specifically gold, come only from certified sustainable sources, favoring the use of recycled gold and silver from a small closed-loop supply chain.
