This thesis tackles the problem of leadership development in the Middle East area. The purpose of the thesis is to introduce a critical study-based problem of this area of knowledge so it would help in an advancing approach of mind-set change and thereby performance progress. Any reader could be informed by this thesis because it mainly presents the outcome of a qualitative study which reflects the essence of the problem and provides a framework and measures that could be of a benefit for many small and mid-size businesses and organisations as the study propositions could be transferable. The findings of the study contribute to the body of knowledge as it reveals the non-progressive factors to development within this area and the possible solutions to it based on scientific and empirical evidence.
