This project consisted of a full renovation of a prewar Co-Op apartment built in 1929 in New York City. The goal was to balance timeless architecture with contemporary furniture and accessories. We introduced new architecturall elements, like arched built-ins and panel moldings.
In the living room, the palette is intentionally monochromatic, allowing the veined marble fireplace to pop-up in the space. Seating is arranged to encourage conversation and connection, and every piece, from the vintage-inspired armchairs to the cocktail table, was chosen to complement the room’s architectural features without overpowering it.
