MSC IN MICROBIOLOGY A GOOD CAREER CHOICE OR NOT
INTRODUCTION MSc microbiology can be defined as the biology of a microscopic organism or life too small to be seen with the naked eye. This course offers the students with subjects such as instrumentation and its Biological Application, Microbial Genetics, Industrial Microbiology, Biostatistics, Food Microbiology, Medical Microbiology, R-DNA Technology, Bioinformatics.
DURATION AND ELIGIBILITY The duration of this course is 2 years which is divided into four semesters. The minimum eligibility required for this course is a candidate should have completed his/her graduation with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC /ST students) in BSc microbiology in any stream of science such as Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physiology, Microbiology. A candidate must have a piece of good knowledge about the theoretical as well as practical of microbiology.
