ABOUT OUR CO-CURRICULUM
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As the Director of Co-curriculum, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome
to you and your family to the new academic year. I am excited to share the
diverse range of co-curricular activities we offer for our Prep and Junior
pupils—activities that enrich their educational experience and foster personal growth.
At Dollar, we believe that true education transcends the confines of the
classroom. Co-curricular activities are instrumental in nurturing the unique talents and interests of each child. They provide invaluable opportunities for pupils to delve into new passions, develop essential life skills, and forge
lasting friendships. Whether your child is inclined towards sports, the arts,
music, or engaging in various clubs, these experiences are crucial in shaping well-rounded, confident individuals ready to embrace the challenges of the world.
We recognise that some activities may have limited spaces available. Please rest assured that in the event of high demand, we will allocate places fairly across the term. Our goal is to provide every child with the opportunity to participate in the activities they love and are excited about.
I encourage you to explore the booklet thoroughly and have thoughtful discussions with your child about the various options available.
HOW TO BOOK
Log in to My School Portal here: https://dollar-
academy.stryver.net/login
Scroll down and click the SOCS tab. This will automatically launch
SOCS, where all of our co-curricular activities are listed.
Select the child you are booking for and click the activities tab. From
there select the day that you would like to book.
Click 'Add' on the activity you wish your child to sign up to.
