La storia di una famiglia, quattro generazioni e più di centoquindici anni, sempre intimamente legati alla città. Un punto di partenza del tutto fiorentino e un amore testimoniato a pieno con il restauro della Loggia della Cappella dei Pazzi e del famoso dipinto ‘La Carità’ del Pollaiolo, con la donazione di 14 pietre incise a mano, primo premio alla Biennale di Venezia ora in esposizione al Tesoro dei Granduchi di Palazzo Pitti. Un legame forte e indissolubile con Firenze, da cui hanno raggiunto fama, rispetto e successo internazionali. Firenze, fonte d’ispirazione per alcune collezioni contraddistinte da segni riconoscibili: le miniature incise a mano ispirate ai capolavori di Botticelli, il giaggiolo, varietà di iris simbolo della città, le linee di monumenti illustri come il Duomo, Ponte Vecchio e il David.
The history of a family, four generations and more than one hundred fifteen years, intimately bound to their city. An exquisitely Florentine starting point and an abiding love expressed via the restoration of the Loggia of the Cappella dei Pazzi and the painting ‘La Carità’ by Pollaiolo, and with the donation of fourteen hand-engraved stones, first prize at the Venice Biennale and now exhibited in the Treasury of the Grand Dukes in Pitti Palace. A deep bond with Florence, whence they achieved international fame, respect and success. Florence, source of inspiration for collections distinguished by recognisable traits: the hand-engraved miniatures inspired by the masterpieces of Botticelli; the ‘giaggiolo’ iris symbolising the city; outstanding monuments such as the Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio, and the David.
