Formerly known as Dodge RAM, RAM is a full sized half-ton pickup truck, competing with the likes of the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The Rebel was first released in 2015 as a brand new model trim for RAM 1500. Interestingly, the RAM is named after the hood ornament that first appeared on Dodge vehicles in 1993. RAM trucks have made Motor Trend truck of the year 5 times. The 2017 RAM Rebel is an off road-oriented version of the 1500.
