During WI eh was severely o w unded during the Anzio, tI aly invasion and earned a rB onze Star, a Purple Heart and several other decorations. e 6’7” tall actor is best known o f r his 20 year - 617 episode portrayal of Marshal Matt Dillon on u G nsmoke, the longestrunning TV ew stern. His other TV ew stern credits include H ‘ ow e eW st aW s oW n’ and ‘e Macahans.’ iV ew his medallion and ah ndprints at #29 on the walking tour.

DENIS WEAVER: An Emmy winning actor and environmentalist, eW aver got his real break on u G nsmoke in 195, creating the memorable character Chester Goode – the sti-legged assistant to Marshal Dillon.
