What is Student Life?! The Office of Student Life fosters the social, physical and educational wellbeing of students by providing opportunities and experiences for engagement on campus and in the community. Student engagement is accomplished by: � Providing resources and support for individual development as well as for student clubs and organizations � Fostering leadership development opportunities for students � Providing opportunities for student and faculty interaction through cocurricular events and services

Where is Student Life?! The Student Life Office is located upstairs in the Bryant Student Union Room 5-201 The Student Life Game Room is located on the north side of the Patriot Cafe

Student Activities Budget Procedure �Florida Statute 1009.23: "The student activity and service fees (SASF) shall be paid into a student activity and service fund at the community college and shall be expended for lawful purposes to benefit the student body in general. These purposes include, but are not limited to, student publications and grants to duly recognized student organizations, the membership of which is open to all students at the community college without regard to race, sex, or religion."

Event Planning & Procedure

P ro ced ure: I . Ev ent In fo rmatio n A . Each campus shall follow its own guidelines for tracking club/organization events. This process is in place so that each campus can support all events that are taking place and avoid duplication of events. Prior to holding a campus event the student group must submit a completed Ev ent P lanni ng a nd A p prov al F orm (S A- S L15) to the appropriate office for review. B. The event i nformati on must be filled out in detail, including contact information for the student responsible, a detailed description of the event, goals and expected attendance. The club/organization advisor and a club officer must sign the form. A meeting must be set up with the Student Activities coordinator to review the proposed event.
