GLOBAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM IN LONDON

GMP (Global Management Program) is a training program provided by JTB University for our leaders to explore what it really means to be a leader in a global company, and to bring our shared vision to life across time zones, languages, and cultural mindset Our leaders, Tomoko, Susan, and Shizuka have participated in heated discussions and had fun together with colleagues from other regions. They are currently working on a team project, which will be presented in Tokyo this November.

Tomoko, Susan and Shizuka have done a great job representing Americas group in the program. I hope they had fun and built relationship across borders.

Ritsuko Hamagami

CHRO/General Manager of Human Resources, JTB i d

I really enjoyed the GMP event in London! It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the world We discovered that we face similar challenges regardless of location, which was enlightening It was also a wonderful chance to gain global business perspectives by exchanging ideas, and I’m excited to apply some of those insights to our work moving forward

JTB USA INC. Honolulu Office

I had the privilege of joining the Global Management Program (GMP) held in London from May 11th to the 16th I was so excited to be a part of this and was really looking forward to meeting participants from all over the world and from different entities. The only other times I have connected with staff from other entities was at Brighter Earth and only for US employees. This was a great opportunity to learn about the successes and challenges that everyone is facing as we become more global.

In addition to Alex's informative training sessions, I had a chance to team up with some amazing people from London, Hong Kong, Japan and the Philippines and work on a presentation about globalization, emphasizing the need for easier movement between entities in order to retain valued staff We had long days of sessions but on the last day, we had a little time to explore London I am looking forward to Module 2 of GMP which will be held in Tokyo in November My group has already started working on the presentation we will be giving on the first day This assignment will give us a chance to use the skills that we learned in Module 1 and think about how we can apply this to our daily job duties

Thank you to JTB University for coordinating such a wonderful program!

Sustainable Event Design: Thoughtful Events, Stronger Communities, A Greener Future MC&A

We would like to share the new article from MC&A Gathering Place that highlights their commitment to sustainable event design. The article begins by emphasizing how MC&A aligns with supplier partners who share their sustainability values. They prioritize LEED-certified venues that focus on energy efficiency and responsible building practices. Their catering partners use biodiverse, locally sourced ingredients and donate leftover food to local shelters. Rental and floral partners contribute by using upcycled materials and repurposing floral arrangements for hospitals and community spaces. Technology also plays a key role, with energy-efficient A/V solutions like LED lighting helping reduce power consumption. The article also introduces the Brighter Earth Project, an internal initiative that brings employees together for regional gatherings focused on community cleanups and food bank harvesting. As part of the JTB Group’s global sustainability mission, MC&A demonstrates that sustainability is not just a trend it’s a responsibility.

JTB AMERICAS VISIT TO BRAZIL JTB AMERICAS VISIT TO BRAZIL

We had the pleasure of welcoming the senior executives of JTB Americas to our offices. In São Paulo, they joined meetings with clients, partners, and our team In Rio de Janeiro, they visited our office and learned about one of Quickly Travel's most specialized operations: the service provided to DOF, a global reference in the offshore sector.

All employees received a 'LA Strong' campaign T-shirt as a gift an initiative by the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games to support the city's recovery after the wildfires, which is also supported by JTB.

We are grateful for this moment of immersion, which was truly meaningful for all of us. The visit allowed our teams to engage directly with global leadership, fostering a valuable exchange of ideas and experiences that drive our shared growth.
