Hotel Vesper Houston at the Galleria ensures the quality and freshness of the food served to our guests In compliance with current health regulations, all food must be prepared by our culinary staff and cannot be taken off the premises once it has been prepared and served.
The state regulates the sale and service of alcoholic beverages, and as a licensee, this hotel must adhere to these regulations Therefore, it is our policy that alcoholic beverages cannot be brought into the hotel from outside If outside liquor is brought in, a fee may be assessed
An acceptable form of payment must be agreed upon during the initial booking arrangements Acceptable forms include advance deposit (prepayment), direct billing (subject to approval) or completed credit card authorization form
**Final payment for all catering events is required three business days before the scheduled event start day**
All catering and banquet charges are subject to a customary 24% administrative fees and applicable sales tax
Room assignments are based on the guaranteed minimum number of anticipated attendees As actual attendance may differ from these estimates, we reserve the right to adjust room reservations to better accommodate any changes in attendance numbers
If your group requires a split menu, entrée selections are limited to a maximum of two choices.
There is an additional charge of $3.50 per person for split menus. The hotel requires the client to provide place cards or tickets indicating each guest's entrée selection If the hotel needs to prepare more than the guaranteed number of a specific entrée, the client will be responsible for the cost of the additional meals
A guaranteed attendance number is required for all meal functions at least 5 business days before the event and cannot be decreased If the catering office is not notified by this deadline, the estimated number will automatically become the guarantee We will accommodate up to 1% over the guaranteed number for groups of fewer than 25 people, and up to 2% for groups of 50 or more.
This quotation is subject to adjustment to account for increases in the cost of food, beverages, labor, and other factors The quotation cannot be finalized until 60 days prior to the event
Bartenders are required for all bars. The bartender charge is $100.00 per bartender. In compliance with Texas State Law, all liquor consumption must cease at 2:00 AM, no alcoholic beverages will be sold to persons under 21 years of age Hotel Vesper requires 1 bartender for every 75 guests for hosted bars, and 1 bartender for every 50 guests for cash bars
