National Preconstruction Executive

Mike Pingel is a Regional Preconstruction Manager for Turner’s National Healthcare Team. He has 30 years of industry experience, while concentrating on healthcare preconstruction over the past 23+ years. He has a passion for eliminating waste and providing evidence-based design solutions and Lean design through collaborative project delivery. His research in hospital bed tower design and evidence based design was published in the Health Environments Research and Design (HERD) Journal.

Turner leverages advanced tools and data-driven strategies to optimize preconstruction, ensuring precision, collaboration, and informed decision-making across projects.

With 27 years of experience, Jennifer Garland combines expertise in healthcare architecture, construction, operations, and Lean process improvement. Her background with designers, contractors, and hospital systems enables her to craft strategic, efficient solutions. As Director of Turner’s Medical Equipment and Transition Planning team, Jennifer focuses on detailed planning, operational flow, and enhancing the built environment’s impact on patients and staff.
