Soundscape

The Impact of Sound
Sound layers build our experiences in the places where we work, play and rest—footsteps; children dancing or the steps of the hotel guest above your room. Impact sound (IIC) greatly impacts the human experience in a living environment. With Soundscape, designers can create an environment that reduces floor-to-floor sound transfer to encourage positive emotional and physical responses in a space.
Soundscape is a new innovation that pairs LVT in wood visual planks with acoustic backing underneath to reduce floor-to-floor sound transfer - a human centered solutions for living environments.

Smooth Transition
With Soundscape, there is no need for transition strips, as the 5 mm thickness complements a wide variety of existing carpet tile collections.
Soundscape’s acoustic backing reduces impact sounds, and with a 59 IIC rating, it’s a highperformance acoustic solution for multi-floor living environments. Designed with an attached acoustic backing, installation is quick and easy, reducing installation time and labor cost.
