Single-Family Homes Real-Time Market Profile
This week the median list price for Portland, OR 97236 is $544,000 with the market action index hovering around 40. This is about the same as last month's market action index of 40. Inventory has held steady at or around 54.
Market Action Index
This answers “How’s the Market?” by comparing rate of sales versus inventory
Slight
The market has been cooling over time and prices have recently flattened. Despite the consistent decrease in Market Action Index (MAI), we’re in a Seller’s Market (where significant demand leaves little inventory available). If the MAI begins to climb, prices will likely follow suit. If the MAI drops consistently or falls into the Buyer’s zone, watch for downward pressure on prices.

School Goals
Pleasant Valley strives to promote equity and to provide a quality education for each student that we serve. Through intentional professional development for teachers, we are working to reduce disproportionality between student groups. To reach this goal we are committed to providing student centered, culturally relevant instruction and to maintain high expectations for all students.
State Goals
The Oregon Department of Education is partnering with school districts and local communities to ensure a 90% ontime, four year graduation rate by 2027. To progress toward this goal, the state will prioritize efforts to improve attendance, provide a well-rounded education, invest in implementing culturally responsive practices, and promote continuous improvement to close opportunity and achievement gaps for historically and currently underserved students.
Safe & Welcoming Environment
We strive to ensure every student and their families feel welcome at our school. Pleasant Valley focuses on socialemotional learning through the use of Responsive Classroom and Sources of Strength curriculum. We aim to create safe, joyful and engaging classrooms where students can bring their full identities and experiences.

BULLYING, HARASSMENT, AND SAFETY POLICIES
To ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all of our students, our counselor, principal, and school staff work with students on a case-by-case basis to address conflict between students, and to provide counseling for harassment. We use restorative practices whenever possible to repair harm done, and acknowledge all student voices.
We practice monthly safety drills for fire, earthquake, and response to dangerous situations, both inside and outside the school.

We have many community partners that support the Wildside Restoration Project, an environmental education program we provide to our students.
Our school promotes student success by using a clear and consistent, culturally responsive system of support. This system utilizes data to identify and address student attendance, behavior, and academic concerns. Student success is consistently monitored and interventions are implemented.
