2023 Yarden Pinot Gris is made exclusively from Pinot Gris fruit harvested from vineyards in the northern Golan Heights. About 50% of the wine is fermented in large oval oak casks. This vintage presents appealing fruit notes of nashi pear, apple and white peach, along with pleasing hints of spice, mineral and flowers. With medium body, this white wine is flavorful and fresh. Yarden Pinot Gris is best consumedwithin a coupleyears ofvintage.Thewine pairswonderfullywith pan-fried sardineswith Italian salsaverde, lemonymarinated chicken skewers, or pasta carbonara.
THE VINTAGE
The 2023 vintage ended in mid-October amidst some of the most trying times our country has faced, concluding a season that began in seemingly simpler times. Although the season’s onset was warmer than usual and total precipitation was 14% below average, late rains were sufficient for starting the growing season with optimal sil moisture.While some exposed clusters sustained a bit of damage due to an extreme heatwave in mid-August, vine canopies remained healthy. Ultimately, ouryields were 16% lower than the average, but of high quality. Once again our people demonstrated their remarkable commitment to producing fine wine in the face of incredible challenges.

THE WINE
The 2023 Gilgal Sauvignon Blanc displays attractive aromatic notes of guava, pear, litchi, melon, citrus blossom and lemongrass. This medium-bodied wine is fresh, lively and enjoyable. Gilgal Sauvignon Blanc is ready for immediate enjoyment and is ideallyconsumedwithin a fewyears of harvest.

2022 Yarden Chardonnay is made with fruit harvested from vineyards at elevations up to 3,900 feet in the northern Golan Heights, a cool area renowned for high-quality Chardonnay. Aged on the lees in French oak barrels for seven months, 2022 Yarden Chardonnay presents ripe lemon, melon, floral and pear aroma notes, intermingling with hints of apricot and French oak. Ready to enjoy now, the wine will continue to develop in the bottle and remain in excellent condition forfive to sevenyears fromvintage.
THE VINTAGE
The 2022 harvest marked our40thvintage, and the first since 2019 not understrict coronavirus protocols. A rainy March ensured the start of spring growth with ample water reservoirs in the Golan’s beautiful volcanic soils. Though a historic heat wave hit at the end of August, our deep-rooted vineyards were largely unaffected. The relatively short 11-week 2022 vintage delivered quality fruit and yields 4% above normal, making foran outstanding harvest in the Golan Heights.

2023 Yarden Rosé is produced exclusively from Tinta Cao grapes grown in GeshurVineyard in the southern Golan Heights.The fruitwas harvested byhand and whole-cluster pressed, resulting in a delicate, salmon-pink color and refreshing aromas. 2023 Yarden Rosé shows aromas of rose, sour cherry and watermelon, along with nuances of mint and strawberries with cream. Mediumbodied, this dryrosé is refreshing and a pleasure to drink.

THE VINTAGE
2021 was another noteworthy vintage in the shadow of the coronavirus pandemic, and our fantastic team once again rose to the challenge. Winter was characterized by average rainfall, with warmer-than-average temperatures in both winter and spring. About a month after starting harvest on August 1, the week spanning late August and early September was our fourth heaviest week ever in our 39 vintages. We completed the harvest in mid-October, capping off a relatively short 11-week season. Our yields, which were a modest 7% below normal, were balanced by very high quality. All in all, the 2021 vintage saw beautiful results across all of ourvarieties

THE VINTAGE
The 2020 vintage was truly historic, with COVID coinciding with challenging harvest conditions.After a summer of above-average rainfall and some of Israel’s warmest-ever temperatures, our second, third and fourth weeks reached record levels, followed by an eight-week harvest period that was the shortest since 1994. Overall quality was high, proving once again that we have an amazing winegrowing region and team that comes through underextreme conditions.

This single-vineyard wine is produced solely from Merlot fruit harvested from Allone HabashanVineyard, which is located at an elevation of 600 meters (2,000 feet) in the central Golan Heights. With high clay content (~40%), the vineyard’s basalt soils exhibit high water holding capacity. The 2020 Yarden Merlot Allone Habashan Vineyard presents attractive fruit notes of ripe cherries and plums, alongwith alluring aromas of earth, fresh herbs, bitterchocolate and orange zest. This complex single-vineyardwine exhibits concentrated flavor, a chewytexture, and a long finish.Thewine aged in small French oak barrels, ofwhich ~70%were new, for18 months.Yarden MerlotAllone HabashanVineyardwill continue developing in the bottle in theyears ahead and stayin excellent drinking condition fortenyears and more from harvest.

Specially crafted for the winery’s 40th anniversary and sourced from the iconic Bar’on Vineyard, the Yarden Cru Elite collection consists of single-vineyard, single-block duo wines of the highest quality in the Golan Heights. These two “sibling” wines are made in extremely limited quantity, produced from just one barrel each from the two blocks on site. Each embodies a distinctive, memorable personality: While the RM block wine (‘Z’)ismoreeffusiveandapproachable,theSOblockwine(‘A’) withdrawn and broody. The decision to bottle single-vineyard single-block wines was made after many years of monitoring and studying the uniqueness and potential of each block in Bar’onVineyard.
ABOUT BAR’ON VINEYARD
The first vineyard was planted on the Bar’on site in 2009, marking the Golan Heights Winery's first time analyzing a potential vineyard site with electroconductivity scanning. This enabled the planting of the vineyard according to how the soil naturally varies within the site. Bar’on Vineyard is among the firstvineyardstobeplantedwithnewplantmaterialafterGolan Heights Winery became the Israeli agent of a world-leading company specializing in the propagation of ultra-quality vine scion and rootstock material. This ongoing process of vertical integration, from vine cultivation to wine production, helps to ensure consistently extraordinary wines. Bar’on Vineyard was also among the first vineyards in Israel to receive certification fromtheLODIRULESSustainableWinegrowingprogram.

2020 ALHCS09338SO (‘A’ BLOCK): Aromasofripeblackberriesand black cherries layered with notes of chocolate, coffee and hints of Sichuan peppercorn and mint. Dark, inky color; an impressive, densely flavored wine that gains complexity with age.
