School Goals

At Oceanlake, our mission is to provide a learning environment that is centered around students' social, behavioral, and academic development. We do this by utilizing PBIS, Restorative Practices, a guaranteed and viable curriculum, and AVID strategies to support language acquisition and increase attendance rates.

State Goals

The Oregon Department of Education is partnering with school districts and local communities to ensure a 90% ontime, four year graduation rate by 2027. To progress toward this goal, the state will prioritize efforts to improve attendance, provide a well-rounded education, invest in implementing culturally responsive practices, and promote continuous improvement to close opportunity and achievement gaps for historically and currently underserved students.

Safe & Welcoming Environment

Lincoln County School District is committed to forming positive school communities where all students succeed and grow. Our behavior management system creates and fosters healthy relationships that enable students to develop self-discipline necessary to remain in school and to function successfully in their educational and social environments. We utilize the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) framework to support appropriate student behaviors and create positive school environments.
