July

One example: six years ago, we made a strategic asset and technology purchase of the Hanz Glove Company in California. Their specialty was waterproof and windproof sport gloves and socks, and we saw real potential to apply that expertise to our industrial glove line. We sent a team of six to learn their processes, packed up the equipment into four containers, and moved everything to our Honduras plant — fully expecting we’d soon be producing waterproof work gloves with breathable, bonded membranes. Well, it wasn’t quick or easy. Hundreds of iterations, equipment rebuilds, and redesigns later, we finally have something we’re proud to put the Superior Glove name on. These long-awaited styles will launch this fall — and they’re going to turn heads.
Another example goes back even further. For more than 15 years, we’ve been working on ways to keep workers cooler in extreme heat — whether that’s warehouse staff in Texas or construction crews in the summer sun. We’ve tested materials, coatings, and new technologies. While some looked great in the
incredibly fine. So we started early, engineering yarns on paper and in theory, long before a 24 Gauge machine was even built.
Now, 24-gauge machines are here — and we’ve taken a big swing, ordering 30 of them. They’ll arrive this August. Thanks to our head start in yarn R&D, we’re already in position to lead, with our sights set on developing the world’s first Cut Level 9 glove on a 24-gauge platform.
At Superior Glove, we don’t innovate just to say we’re innovative. We do it to make a real difference for the people who wear our products. Whether it’s a six-month sprint or a 15-year climb, we don’t stop until it’s right. Thanks to all of you who are part of these journeys — from our engineers and technicians to our production teams, salespeople, marketers, and customer service reps. Every one of you contributes to the breakthroughs, big and small. Let’s keep building — one spark, one step, one breakthrough at a time.
Stay safe — people are counting on you.
Tony

Coming soon - Nikola Tesla’s Birthday
We’re marking Tesla Day with a collaborative paint-by-numbers mural—and every team member is invited to join in!
This creative project is inspired by Tesla’s bold, imaginative spirit and serves as a reminder that when we each contribute our piece—literally and figuratively—we can build something meaningful together. It’s a celebration of innovation, creativity, and the power of teamwork across all our global locations.
THE DETAILS
• If you’re onsite, your team should have already received a panel on June 30, along with instructions. Once painted and dried, bring your panel to the Acton courtyard on July 9th, where we’ll assemble the “mural” and celebrate with snacks. If you’re in Springdale, Point Leamington, Honduras, Shreveport, or North Carolina, connect with your Social Committee or local HR rep to participate and to find out where to meet on July 9th for snacks.
• If you’re remote, this is optional, but you can download your graphics by clicking HERE, print them on 8.5x11 paper, and follow the paint legend to complete your section. Submit your finished piece by July 9th next week to communications@superiorglove.com.
Everyone who participates will be entered into a draw! Two “experience” tickets will be awarded per location, with prizes tailored to your area. If you are remote, and choose to participate, please specify your location.
Tools in the Trades Bootcamp
In June, our Acton warehouse hosted the Tools in the Trades Bootcamp—an initiative designed to introduce participants to the skilled trades, with a focus on electrical work and millwrighting. Organized by Maxine Bermister, Sharon Vincent, and Ryan Kinsey, with support from Jill Dales on facility tours, the event featured hands-on learning and a behind-the-scenes look at manufacturing. With PPE playing a vital role in both trades, Superior Glove provided gloves to attendees, while other companies, including Saputo, Electrical Union, Precision Millwright, and Guillevin International, participated to share information about their organizations.

One Walk 2025
Across all locations, over 800 of us took part in our first-ever Superior Glove One Walk. Thank you for helping raise more than $13,000 in support of Sick Kids Foundation, Foster Backpack for Comfort, Wounded Warriors and the Cancer Association in Honduras.
