How may this project change that?s a safe space.

Suspension bridges, scaffoldings and steel beams are features commonly found in construction sites. Project:
Garden of time
- Integrated studio project 3
-Developed as a commercial retail space that integrates the significant flora at the railway corridor. The space gives opportunities for Senior citizens to continue their lifelong ageing.

Flowers such as the Ixora Javanica and the Arundima Gramniflora holds significant meaning at the railway corridors. They represent the 1900s, a moment of transience for Singapore as it tranforms itself into a modern society while retaining its cultural heritage.

Simmilarly the place embodies the same idea, by allowing the elderly to continue a path of lifelong-learning while getting the equal opportuinity to be be an active part in society, they mark a metamorphical change in their lives and continuosly grow even through the later years.

The floors of the upper levels were inspired by the clusters of the Ixora Javanica flower, encouraging people to come together like clusters.

Project:
Cohabitation for two
-Spatial Design Strategies
-Designed a space for two students living within a limited area. It is a space that can meet the needs of two people while still maintaining a cozy aesthetic.
The space mixes the two intrests of the students. One who enjoys movies and the other who is a book lover. By facing the main two interest back to back onto the diffrent sides of the room, they can both enjoy their intrests without having to disrupt each others spaces.

The space also aims to achhieve a cozy and comfortable affect by using prdominantly warm tones for its materials. This is to ensure that while having an efficient space, the two students can relax during their time at home.
