SHREDDED FIBER & BACKING
Once the carpet tile is returned, it is processed at Shaw facilities, and the material is shredded into a mix of fiber and backing.
EXTRUDED PELLETS
The shredded material is extruded into pellets that are used to make new carpet tile backing.
ECOWORX® BIO CARPET TILE
Our 100% PVC-free backing is made from thermoplastic polyolefin compound engineered for performance & circularity.
ECOSOLUTION Q100™ FIBER
EcoSolution Q100™ is a high performance 100% recycled content nylon fiber*. Texture Study carpet tile styles are made with EcoSolution Q100™ and have a low carbon footprint as reflected in the EC3 tool.

Texture Study carpet tile styles are Living Building Challenge (LBC) Red List Approved. Proprietary ingredients are not disclosed on the Declare label; however, all raw materials have been third-party confirmed as being compliant with LBC Red List.

At the end of its useful life, we'll reclaim and recycle Texture Study carpet tile styles to make more EcoWorx® carpet products through our Environmental Guarantee. Since 2006, Shaw has reclaimed and recycled nearly 1 billion pounds of post-consumer carpet reducing landfill waste.

Shaw Contract rugs are manufactured using broadloom, the composition of your rug will be unique to your order. In each rug, the repetition of shapes, colors, and lines maintain and extend a playful rhythm no matter where they end.
Shaw Contract area rugs are finished standard with non-skid backing and a serged edge or hidden edge, with no order minimums. The 1-year edge warranty includes performance, specifically that the serged and hidden edges will not unravel or separate under normal traffic.
