SCOPE

The goal of the Health Center’s three-story renovation was to create a space that balanced practical needs with the university’s distinguished academic reputation.

SOLUTION

Incorporating intentional pops of color with the university’s iconic colors, the space was refreshed with flooring and paint upgrades without undergoing extensive structural changes.

The Bigfork ImagineIF Library renovation transformed a 6,000 square foot church hall into a flexible community space. The design emphasized adaptability and biophilic elements, while supporting the Design for Freedom initiative to eliminate forced labor in building materials.

SOLUTION

The flooring design incorporated EcoWorx® carpet tile and PVC-free resilient products, ensuring both sustainability and ethical material sourcing. Living Systems carpet tile mirrored the nearby river with organic patterns, while a custom layout was created to support flexibility, allowing furniture to move freely without disrupting floor transitions. This solution not only met the aesthetic and functional needs of the library but also aligned with the broader goal of promoting fair labor practices in the building materials industry.

SCOPE

The business center featured an open-to-deck ceiling, which posed a challenge in optimizing product selection and installation for effective sound absorption.

SOLUTION

The installation created a cohesive and functional environment optimizing the product and installation design. The solution balanced sound control, budget considerations, and aesthetic appeal.

Public Library

SCOPE

The Acadia Parish Library project explored design that complemented the existing character of the library. The space featured exposed brick and vibrant shades of orange and yellow paint, creating a bold visual foundation.

SOLUTION

Drawing inspiration from the existing elements, the space was enhanced by balancing the warmth of the brick, paint, and wood with accents of blue. Introducing biophilic design through an organic installation mimicking the movement of coastal tides integrating both color and nature into the space.

Medical Office Building Tenant Standards

EXAM ROOM

SCOPE

The Medical Office Building needed to establish a standard to ensure consistency. The various space types include Nursing Stations, Exam Rooms, Labs, Operating Rooms, Imaging Rooms, and Private Offices.

SOLUTION

The standards developed provide two defined color palettes with blue and yellow accents to simplify the selection process for the client on a project-by-project basis. The selections were carefully selected to ensure both functionality and aesthetic consistency.

SCOPE

The space required a solution that could guide both patients and staff while maintaining a calming and functional design. The need was to create a unified strategy that addressed both aesthetic and practical concerns within the facility.

SOLUTION

A carefully selected palette of six colorways established clear navigation pathways, while strategic accents and transitions enhanced wayfinding, providing both visual clarity and a cohesive aesthetic throughout the space.

Senior Living Facility

SCOPE

The project focused on designing a senior living facility that reflected the surrounding Sonoran Desert landscape, creating a familiar and calming environment for residents, enhancing both the aesthetic and functional needs of the space while ensuring ease of navigation and comfort for the senior tenants.

SOLUTION

Products from the Cultura collection inspired by the Sonoran Desert created a familiar and calming palette. Endless Tile created wayfinding and the traditional visuals of the Anthology collection added an intimate to the dining area and grounded the space.

The installation of purposely selected flooring materials defined distinct zones and created clear pathways, improving organization and navigation. Strategic use of textures, colors, and patterns in key areas, including the rehabilitation room, guided patients through therapy stations while enhancing comfort, safety, and ease of maintenance.

Museum Artifact Annex

SCOPE

This project aimed to create a versatile flooring design for an annex that housed artifacts rotating through the Motown Museum. The space, featuring classrooms, green rooms, dance studios, and archive rooms, required a thoughtful approach to both functionality and aesthetics, with careful attention to various room types and specialized spaces like climatecontrolled archives.

The space required flooring solutions that would elevate the overall design while addressing the functional needs of hightraffic and communal spaces. SOLUTION

The installation of dark-patterned carpet, wallcovering, and paint transformed the space by providing a refined aesthetic and improving durability. The carpet helped with sound absorption and concealed wear in high-traffic areas, while the wallcovering added texture, resilience, and further sound dampening, all while ensuring safety with better traction and surface protection. The seamless installation resulted in a professional, high-end finish that enhanced both the look and functionality of the space.

Spanning three buildings and three floors, the project featured a bold design palette inspired by water and the local Los Angeles art scene. SCOPE

The Vertical Bridge workplace project, spanning two floors and 65,000 square feet, required a design that balanced functionality with the client’s specific needs, including no carpet in open office areas and a focus on durability and cleanliness. The design firm approached us to help complete the concept, drawing inspiration from Vertical Bridge’s work in building cellphone towers to create a unique design for the space.

SCOPE

This focus on creating a modern and durable space aligned with the client’s pet grooming brand. The design had to address concerns like moisture from bathing areas and the impact of pet nails on the floor while maintaining a fresh, airy aesthetic.

SOLUTION

A combination of wood tones, concrete visuals and light-toned finishes created a lively and modern atmosphere. Porcelain options were leveraged within the bathing areas alongside a more intricate installation of Vitality Homogeneous Sheet to promote durability and easy clean.
