My favorite places to eat: Napoli Per Tutti. The Margherita Pizza is as authentic as any pizza you’d find in Italy. It’s a great place for a date and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And you don’t see too many places with a personalized brick oven out in the open.

Schaumburg Park District has over 50 well-maintained parks and playgrounds located throughout the community.
Bison’s Bluff Nature Playground - Bison’s Bluff Nature Playground is located at Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road. The park is designed to engage children in active and passive play in a natural setting. This unique custom-designed play area includes natural materials (logs, boulders, sand, water, etc.) as well as naturethemed play structures and manufactured features that mimic a rock bluff and cliff face, fallen logs, a flowing stream, wetland, beaver lodge, etc. A visit to the playground will inspire active, open-ended, creative forms of play, similar to that enjoyed by previous generations of children who grew up wandering fields, forests, and streams near their homes. The goal is to inspire today’s youth to remain active, develop agility, learn resilience, discover the benefits of cooperation and experimentation, solve problems, and learn to navigate the world around them confidently.
In addition to Bison’s Bluff, Spring Valley includes the Vera Meineke Nature Center, Volkening Heritage Farm Museum, and more than 3 miles of nature trails. The Nature Play Discovery Trail leads to small themed ‘play pockets’ that provide opportunities for nature play in more secluded settings. Other important parks in Schaumburg include Atcher Park, Campanelli Park, Gray Farm Park, Conversation Area, K-9 Dog Park, Prairie Park, and Olympic Park.

Schaumburg Park District fitness centers are located at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way, and Schaumburg Tennis Plus, 1416 N. Payne Road. In addition to state-of-the-art fitness equipment and amenities, the District also offers a full group fitness and aqua fitness schedule. Reservations are required for all classes and facilities.
WATER PARKS
Schaumburg Park District’s The Water Works indoor pool is located inside the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. The facility features a zerodepth aquatic playground for children, two water slides, a full-size lap pool, and diving boards. Open swim is available on Saturdays and Sundays and reservations are required. During the summer months, the District operates a number of outdoor pools.
The Oasis Water Park located in the Bloomingdale Park District Circle Park ▸ Boosting several attractions within the water park, Bloomingdale Park District offers the chance to get away from it all just minutes from home during the summer. The water park features age appropriate swim and interactive areas: Cuda Cove, Mango Bay, Adventure Island and the Tiki Hunt concessions. Season passes offering a discount are offered seasonally.

Want to learn an instrument? How about star in a play? Schaumburg Park District offers a variety of year-round cultural arts classes and dance companies where students can learn new skills or fine-tune their existing talents.
ATHLETICS
Get in the game with Schaumburg Park District. The District offers a number of athletic classes and tournaments throughout the year in a variety of sports including t-ball, softball, basketball, soccer, karate, and much more! The District is also home to The Sport Center, a 10,000 square-foot building which includes four basketball courts, six volleyball courts, two soccer fields (convertible to one softball/baseball field), and a gymnastic center.

Schaumburg Park District’s preschool program is DCFS licensed and National Association of the Education of Young Children accredited. Our preschool program provides children with a strong foundation to become lifelong learners.
The District also offers a variety of early childhood programs and services that encourage growth and child development.

The Bloomingdale Park District offers a variety of programs for the youngest in our community. Experienced and caring staff develop curriculum to build a well-balanced child.
