Dobson Ranch is home to three dynamic recreation centers, offering the perfect balance of fitness, fun, and community. These centers provide a wide range of amenities and services, create a lively space for residents and visitors to stay active, connect with others, and build lasting memories.

La Casita Recreation Center, the heart of Dobson Ranch, offers a host of exciting features for all ages. With four tennis courts, a refreshing pool and splash pad, and a playground for children, this center is a go-to spot for outdoor fun, open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM. Did you also know it is home to the La Casita Preschool? Contact us for more information.

But that’s not all – La Casita also offers rental spaces ideal for all types of events, from weddings and receptions to birthday parties and family reunions. The Grande Room offers 1,200 square feet of space and accommodates up to 115 guests, complete with an optional full-service kitchen for an additional rental fee. For more intimate gatherings, the Chica Room provides 660 square feet of space for up to 50 guests, making it perfect for meetings or smaller celebrations. If you prefer the outdoors, Sunset Plaza is a beautiful venue equipped with shade screens, misters, and a stage with power outlets ideal for outdoor weddings, parties, or live entertainment. The Plaza’s spacious setup can easily accommodate a bounce house for added fun!

Planning to host an event at home? We’ve got you covered! We rent tables and chairs to make your next party comfortable and stylish. Please note, table and chair rentals must be reserved in person, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm.

Another venue in Dobson Ranch is the Los Altos Recreation Center, and it offers additional opportunities for recreation, featuring a pickleball court, an outdoor basketball court, and both a junior Olympic-sized pool and a leisure pool for swimmers of all levels.

At Saratoga Recreation Center, fitness enthusiasts will find a tennis court, a pool, and a studio offering a variety of classes to help you stay in shape, like Yoga and Dance.

Our future plans include expanding our fitness programs, adding exciting new events, and continuing to improve our facilities to better serve the needs of our vibrant community.

Clubs, Events & Activities

As a fellow resident and employee of Dobson Ranch, I have a unique perspective and have seen both the challenges and successes of our community over the past year. I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication of our HOA staff, clubs, committees, and the Board of Directors who work to make Dobson Ranch a wonderful place to live.

Looking ahead to 2025, I am committed to improving our community events and building on the successes of 2024, such as the Movie in the Park events. Recreation will continue to host those, which have been a great way to bring our community together. Dobson Ranch Recreation is also determined to pursue and expand our larger events this year, like the Easter Egg Hunt and Spooktacular.

As we move forward into the new year, I will also attempt to increase and introduce more events, classes, and experiences that will enrich our community. My commitment to the community is to keep striving to make our events ever better and helping to make Dobson Ranch the best place to live!

I invite all residents to join me on this journey. Your participation and support are crucial to our success. Whether it’s attending meetings, joining a club, committee, class, or simply enjoying the activities, every bit helps. I invite you especially to be involved in the Recreation Department Committee meetings, held on the 4th Tuesday each month. Let’s all work together to make 2025 an amazing year for the Ranch!
