Some items that I have found when comparing DNV to other registrars, or their auditors to other auditors that were very much appreciated by my company:
The quoting process was easy, transparent, and direct. Not loaded with hidden fees and the typical sales tactics we have found with other registrars.
Scheduling was very easy and accommodating for us. We had to make some last minute day changes but DNV and our auditors worked with us for a quick resolution.
The auditors were punctual, spoke well to our associates, answered difficult questions and asked for objective evidence
The communication was perfect. There were no surprises before, during, or after the audit. The corrective action and closure process was very well defined, very easily understood and very well communicated . After our responses and submission the corrective actions were closed much quicker than we have seen with other auditors.

What I respect most about DNV’s third-party audit approach is their desire and ability to make the auditor/auditee experience one of a partnership looking to advance the client’s Quality Management System.
The auditor presented himself professionally, confidently, and respectfully of all the auditees he came to know during the audit. He was very thorough in important areas. For example, functional safety - he took time to dig down and into the scope of work (SOW) /development interface agreement (DIA), traceability and other key aspects of functional safety (FuSa). I was happy to see this level of third-party auditing and he joins the excellent skilled auditors I have come to know at DNV.
