I'm Glenn, your dedicated host on this stunning retreat. Together with my wife Lisa, we're thrilled to welcome you to our slice of paradise.
My journey has taken me from being an exArmy paratrooper to owning and running Surfed Out, a well-known surf shop in Braunton, for the past 23 years. While Lisa and I have been busy with the shop, our family has stepped in, allowing us to focus on making your stay at the Drey Cabin truly memorable.
With our deep love for sustainable tourism, we've created a luxurious yet eco-friendly retreat drawing on our local knowledge and love for the ocean. When you arrive, we'll be there to personally greet you and provide a warm introduction to the property. It's important to us that you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door Throughout your stay, we'll be available to assist you with anything you may need. Feel free to knock on our door or reach out to us if you have any questions or require assistance
The Drey Cabin is nestled on our shared property, not far from the Granary. To access the cabin, you'll enter through an original small stone barn, adding to the charm and character of your stay. It's a unique and delightful feature that sets the stage for a memorable experience
Additional notes: Check-in time is anytime after 15:00 (3:00 PM), but if you plan to arrive earlier, simply message or communicate with us, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs Rest assured that parking is available upon your arrival, and we even offer EV parking if you require it.

Check-out is around 11:00 AM We understand that sometimes you may want to savour every moment of your trip, so we do our best to accommodate late check-outs. If you require a later check-out time, please reach out to us in advance We can only accommodate late check-outs depending on availability. There's no need to worry about tidying up as our cleaning fee covers this for you Simply enjoy your stay until the very end.
Cancellations: Strict Cancel up to 7 days before to get a 100% refund Partial refund for cancellations within 7 days or on the day of the trip, with 50% refund for each night after the first, excluding the first night and service fee

Everyday, we'll have the hot tubs set up and ready for you to enjoy. If the water is a little too hot for your liking, simply add some cold water from the hose provided Adjust it to your perfect temperature and soak away in relaxation!
OUTDOOR BBQ
To fire up the outdoor BBQ, place charcoal in the metal bowl and ignite it using either a lighter or matches Once the charcoal glows red and turns ashy, you're ready to grill your favorite delights! Remember, safety first dispose of used charcoal properly after it cools down
KINDLING FIRE
Grab some kindling (wooden box corner of pergola) , firewood, and a torch (you'll find a small one on the outdoor table) or a bigger torch located opposite the heater wall in the pergola. Enjoy a cozy evening with a warm fire, perfect for winding down
VICTORIAN BATH
To enjoy the outdoor Victorian bath, fill it up with warm water to your desired level. We've provided bath soak and salts by the bath to enhance your experience further Adjust the temperature to your liking using the controls nearby.
