Gauge 14 S x 19 R = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette st using needles 4. Front & Back Both are worked the same. CO 100 sts onto needles 3 and wk in 1x1 Rib (chart 1) for 2”. Switch to needles 4 and work as indicated below. Waistline shaping: dec sts as mentioned and you will have 88 remaining sts. Once front & back are finished, crochet in the round, close every row with 1 sl st. Rows 23 - 64: follow chart 3 and rep sts. Then follow chart 4 and rep sts (rows 1 - 17) Sleeves Mk a 13.5” ch cord and follow chart 2, rep sts and also measurement chart. Assembly & finishing Use tapestry needle to sew sides, leave 6.75” opening for arms. Close sleeve (1.5”) and sew onto body. Use crochet hook 1.75 mm to work 1 row in sc around sleeves & neckline. Continue working on front the same way, rep from * to * horizontally (14x) = 22x from * to *. On row 22, mk 1 increase (follow chart) at 56 sts from edges. Mk another inc in the same direction on row 42. On row 49, mk another inc, at 56 sts from border and on the center of back. Continue straight. At 39.5” mk 1 row in sc and fasten off. Straps Ch 60 + 1 to turn and work in sc for 8 rows and fasten off. Mk 2 straps. Assembly & finishing Mk 4 rows in sc along left front and fasten off. Mk the same on the right front, but mk 14 buttonholes On row 2 (ch 2, sk 2 sc, in the next row mk 2 sc in the ch). The first buttonhole at 0.5” of neckline and the others 1.25” apart. Sew buttons on the left front facing buttonholes. On the top mk 1 row in sc and fasten off. Sew straps, onto front next to inc and on the back, 6” from arms. At 7” set piece aside and mk front left side. Work the same as right, inverting dec & inc sides. After both sides are finished, ch 7 between sides. At this point, Front & back will be worked tog. Crochet in the round. Skirt Work front & back at the same time. Mk a ch cord 31.5” and close with 1sl st. Crochet in the round and close every row with 1 sl st. Follow Pattern A - chart 1 and rep sts for 13.75”. Work crochet edge at hem, follow chart 6 and rep sts. Waistline Follow chart 2 and rep sts (rows 1 - 3). Note: blue row = Crab st. Work back & forth, start at the center of back. On each edge make a ch cord (8”) and work in sc. Sew a tassel on the edge of each of these cords. Front strap Work on 4” of central part of skirt’s waistline. Join yarn and make a ch cord 41.5” (base strap for cups and around neck). Follow chart 3 (rows 1 & 2). Note: blue row = Crab st. At 4.75” start cup on the external side. Assembly & finishing Follow chart 5 and rep sts and work around strap, cups, borders, around neck and waistline. Crochet in the round and close with 1sl st. Close the central strap between cups joining the picots with sl sts for 5.5”. Use sewing thread in the same color to sew cups with invisible sts. Line skirt. Crochet tassel Cut 20 yarn pieces (4”), insert needle in place, fold yarn in half. Use a second strand (4”) and tie a knot at 0.5” of edge.
