Adjustment Regular Adjustment Eligibility For students with 15 units and below For students with failures

Special Adjustment Eligibility for students with 15 or more units that need to have schedules adjusted

Reminders The online reservation of the pass follows first come, first serve basis and is non-transferable Those who acquired the pass must follow the indicated timeslot in the animo.sys facility If the pass is not used, the student will not be allowed to obtain another pass for the next term The Special Adjustment Pass costs PHP 150.00

Procedure

1. Wait for the specific date of reservation of the pass then reserve a special adjustment pass through MLS. 2. Once reserved for a specific timeslot, proceed with adjustments through MLS on the reserved timeslot.

4. Print the Special Adjustment Pass.

5. Show the Special Adjustment Pass to the Accounting Office then pay PHP 150.00 for the pass. The Adjustment fee still applies regardless of getting the desired courses or not.

Manual Adjustment

Eligibility and Reminders For graduating students and students with special, immediate, and valid concerns Special concerns include classes with conflict in schedule, and for BSA students who failed the QLY Students who opt for Manual Adjustment must proceed to Ms. Pinky (L221) Changes will only be permitted if classes are in the flowchart.

Swapping of classes is not allowed.

Students with concerns regarding closed classes with less than 45 maximum capacity will be accommodated (but with online max cap of 43) depending on the venue.

SPECIAL CLASSES Eligibility Graduating students (those with 24 units remaining in their flowchart) Students who have failed certain prerequisite courses and these prerequisite courses conflict with other major courses Students in prerequisite courses (based on flowchart) that have been dissolved due to limited number of enrollees in the class

Procedure 1. The Special Class Form can be obtained from Ms. Pinky (L221) or downloaded from http://www.dlsu.edu.ph/offices/registrar/_pdf/EN-05-201309.pdf 2. Upon filling up the form, request for the signatures of the Vice Dean, professor, and the department chair.

SHIFTING General Requirements Average of Economics courses must be 3.0. If the average fails to reach 3.0, CGPA must at least be 3.0

Internal vs External Shifting Internal Shifting In general, shifting from RVR-COB to SOE is considered internal shifting For double-degree students shifting to a different COB program, procedures will follow internal shifting (Visit the degree requirements on the COB section of this document) For single- and double-degree students shifting to and from AEF, AEI, and ECM, procedures will follow guidelines for internal shifting External Shifting For double-degree students dropping their COB program, procedures will follow external shifting.

Shifting Procedure Internal Shifting 1. Fill out the pre-application form online (https://goo.gl/sZRkX4) 2. Obtain three (3) copies of the Shifting Application Form from the Enrollment Services Hub (2/F Henry Sy Sr. Hall).

3. Claim Transcript of Records from the Enrollment Services Hub one (1) week after release of form 4. Fill out the form in three (3) copies and have your parent/guardian sign it. A photocopy of a valid ID of your parent/guardian showing his/her signature must be attached 5. Secure the signature of your Academic Programming Officer 6. Submit all forms and required documents in a long brown envelope to the Vice Dean's Office of SOE (2/F LS Hall) including: · Application for Shifting (EN-07-201503) signed by parent/ guardian AND Sending Chair; · Transcript of Records; and · Photocopy of ID of parent/guardian 7. Get results of application for shifting from the Vice Dean

8. Encode courses on-line following the schedule of the Office of the University Registrar.

External Shifting 1. Fill out the pre-application form online (https://goo.gl/IF8P8U) 2. Obtain three (3) copies of the Shifting Application Form from the Enrollment Services Hub (2/F Henry Sy Sr. Hall).

3. The form is released by the Enrollment Services Hub together with the ITEO Exam Permit. (Claim Transcript of Records from the Enrollment Services Hub one (1) week after release of this form.)

4. Fill out the form in three (3) copies and have your parent/guardian sign it. A photocopy of a valid ID of your parent/guardian showing his/her signature must be attached 5. Secure the signature of your Academic Programming Officer 6. Take the ITEO exam 7. ENLISTMENT AND ENROLLMENT Enrollment Guidelines MLS Account Reactivation Only students who haven’t paid their tuition fee within the deadline are required to reactivate their accounts Students under scholarship should check if their accounts are still active Academic Advising Settle Clearances Student should check their flowchart/curriculum audit for the list of courses they would be enroll in for the term On-Line Enrollment The Office of the University Registrar shall release a schedule for the specific dates and time periods for each batch and/or college.

Click “Self Service” > Click “Enrollment” > Click “Enrollment: Add Classes”

Add Classes o Enter Class Number to its respective field then click “Enter” o Add your selected classes for the term o Be mindful of the class numbers – double check by looking at the course offerings (may be viewed in MLS website, just below the log in button) o Of finished, click “Proceed to Step 2 of 3” Confirm Classes o Click “Finish Enrolling” o To revise the list of classes, click “Previous” then repeat the steps above View results o To check your classes, click “My Class Schedule”

4. Printing of Enrollment Assessment Form (EAF)

A student may download a pdf file of his/her EAF through his/her MLS account. It can be found under the “Enrollment Tab”

The following should be written at the back of the check: o Student Name, ID Number, Course/College, Telephone No./Mobile No., and Home Address

*If a check was returned or dishonoured by the bank, the office would automatically cancel the official receipt. Replacement for such checks shall be paid to the Cashier at the Finance & Accounting Office through cash or manager’s check.

Full Payment •

Payments can be made in the form of cash and/or checks o Clearing cut-off time for Check Payments: 1:00 PM (those received after the cutoff time shall be considered as payment on the following banking day)

The payer should not forget to get the second copy of the validated BPS from the teller as proof of receipt of payment.

The DLSU official receipt will be available for pick up at Student Services Section of Finance & Accounting Office after three (3) working days receiving a transmittal report from the participating banks, or the student may present immediately the validated BPS to the Student Services Section for the issuance of Official Receipt by the Cashier of the Finance & Accounting Office.

Original Enrollment Assessment Form (EAF) will be submitted to the Student Services Section of the Finance & Accounting Office.

4. Credit Card Payment •

Any Mastercard or VISA card through straight payment is acceptable. o Only one swipe per card is allowed per student o A maximum of two credit cards are allowed per student

Required for: o Freshmen, transferees, and cross-enrolees for the particular term o Graduating student and upperclassmen with assessment of Pho 12,000 and below o Students (all year levels) enrolled during summer classes

Installment Basis • Payment may be done in cash, credit card, or check • Over the counter facility with UCPB or Union Bank o Only on the first payment. Make sure the second payment shall be made at the Accounting Office • Installment Fee: 200 • Installment Scheme: 50% - 50%

DROPPING/WITHDRAWAL OF COURSES Guidelines • •

Generally, dropping of courses may be done on-line through the Animo.sys portal during the given schedules.

The following are not allowed to drop. o First-year undergraduate students o Upperclass undergraduate students whose total number of academic units enrolled will fall below 12 units (after dropping of courses) For purposes of official academic records, dropped courses do not appear in the Transcript of Records and are treated as if these were not enrolled. Withdrawn courses, however, appear in the Transcript of Records as a “W.”

[IMPORTANT REMINDER] - Students who have dropped or withdrawn need to claim their revised EAF to make the transaction official. It will be claimed at the Enrollment Services Hub (Henry 2nd Floor).

No refund shall be made after the second week of the term, regardless of whether the student has attended classes or not.

All checks for tuition refund, regardless of date of dropping within the applicable refund period, are released at the Accounting Office by week 12.
