ANIMORE: UNLEASING THE GREEN SPIRIT

The DLSU-D University Student Government, in collaboration with the Sports Development Office, launched the annual Intramurals titled “Animore: Unleashing the Green Spirit” on April 1, 2024. The week-long event began with a vibrant opening ceremony in the MTH Court, featuring athletes from the university's seven colleges

RELAXED BUSINESS ATTIRE

On April 12, 2024 due to the onset of the extreme temperature conditions, the office of Student Services announced that they will be more “relaxed” with their business attire policy This policy was in effect until the end of the second semester of the Academic Year 2023 - 2024

Throughout the week, competitions were held across various university facilities, culminating in the “Ginoo at Binibining La Salle Dasmariñas” (GBLSD) on April 6, 2024. The Intramurals highlight the school spirit and athletic prowess, fostering camaraderie and showcasing the talent and dedication of our everyday Lasallians

NATIONAL TRANSPORT STRIKE

In response to the Nationwide Transport Strike, the class and work arrangements scheduled for April 15, 2024, remained unchanged on April 16, 2024. Despite the ongoing disruptions, all classes and work activities proceeded as initially planned. The administration ensured that all students and employees were informed and guided accordingly to maintain continuity and minimize the impact of the strike

GINOO AT BINIBINING LA SALLE DASMARIÑAS 2024

After a fierce competition on Ginoo at Binibining La Salle Dasmariñas, Binibining College of Business Accountancy Administration (CBAA) took the crown of Binibining La Salle Dasmariñas, while Ginoong College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) claimed the title of Ginoong La Salle Dasmariñas. The event happened on the evening of April 6, 2024 at the University Grandstand. Candidates from various colleges prepared to compete, showcasing their skills, charm, and intelligence as they vied for coveted titles.

This year ' s contestants were eager to bring honor to their respective colleges, and their dedication was evident in every performance. The event gave rise to excitement as students rallied to support their peers, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and school spirit

The Ginoo at Binibining La Salle Dasmariñas pageant is not just a competition but a celebration of talent, determination, and community. Congratulations to the winners and all participants for their outstanding efforts and look forward to more inspiring events in the future.

USG RELEASED STUDENT FINANCIAL AID PROGRAM

The DLSU-D University Student Government announced its “Financial Aid Grant Program” for the Second Semester, Academic Year 2023-2024 The program was established in order to provide support for our everyday Lasallians in need The applicants were tasked to meet certain qualifications and adhere to the specified requirements in order to be granted financial aid The application period started on May 3, 2024 and lasted until May 25, 2024

DESIGNATED STUDY AND RELAXATION ZONES AMID HEAT

As temperatures continued to rise, the Office of the President designated certain common areas as study and relaxation zones for our everyday Lasallians Those who intend to use these communal spaces are urged to maintain a quiet atmosphere by speaking in indoor voices and engaging in subdued conversations. They are also encouraged to practice Clean As You Go (CLAYGO).

“IT’S NOT JUST A RUN - IT’S AN ADVENTURE UNDER THE SUN”

The Advancement and Alumni Relations Office Together with DLSU-D University Student Government Held its fun run titled Animo Sunset Run on May 25, 2024.The fun run itself was held at Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub and featured various activities and performances all for the benefit of DLSU-D Scholars and Bahay Pag-asa The event was planned to last until 9PM of that day however, due to unforeseen weather conditions, it was unfortunately cut short.

SUSGA: STATE OF THE UNIVERSITY STUDENT GOVERNMENT ADDRESS

On June 8, 2024, the State of the University Student Government Address was delivered, focusing on the events and developments that had occurred since the previous address This address, held at the Ugnayang La Salle, served as a comprehensive review of the student government's activities, achievements, and challenges over the past year The address highlighted key initiatives, projects, and policies implemented by the student government, as well as the impact these efforts had on the university community It also provided an opportunity to reflect on the successes and areas for
