Consistently setting new benchmarks for travel related services across the Kingdom, the journey of Attar Travel began when two brothers, Saddik and Mohammed Attar, founded the Saddik and Mohammed Attar Company in the 1940s. It became one the first registered companies in Jeddah and a founding member of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce.Operating in Saudi Arabia for over 70 years, Attar Travel is one of the most prominent travel agencies in the region. In the early days, the company’s primary business was to provide services for pilgrims traveling to Makkah and Madinah. And from one travel office in Jeddah in 1952, the company has now expanded to more than 42 offices throughout the country.

In recognition of its services, Attar Travel won the award for Saudi Arabia’s Leading Travel Agency at the World Travel Awards twice in a row, in 2013 and 2014. While recently, Sarah Fareed, an employee of Attar Travel, won the Agent of the Month Award in March 2015.

Additionally, the long established Attar Travel’s technological partner is Amadeus, a leading provider of IT related solutions to the global tourism and travel industry.
