A staple of the community for almost 100 years, the American Legion Holmes Post 192, located in downtown Millersburg off West Jackson Street, continues to play a major role serving at local events while also providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for veterans to enjoy year round. The post is currently managed by Wes and Marga Maxwell, a husband and wife team, who both served in the Air Force. In managing the post, the Maxwells are still serving, though in a different way.
