Spring sales to be held throughout village to celebrate new business By BRANDON ZAFFINI Staff Writer Winesburg is gearing up for its first ever spring event — a Spring Sale on April 11-12 that will feature the businesses and highlight the rich history of the village. The catalyst for the event is the open house celebration of Winesburg Lawn and Garden, which is the second branch location of Charm Engine. The store specializes in lawn mowing equipment, chain saws and a variety of outdoor supplies for farming, lawn and garden care. In the words of Eli Wengerd, president of the Winesburg Business Association, the new store “will be a great asset to our community,” and “will fulfill a real need in our local area as well as people from surrounding areas.”
